Now, let’s dive into the topic of today’s video: how long does it take for a narcissist to feel the effects of your absence? More specifically, how does the loss of you impact them when you are no longer part of their life?
You might wonder if the narcissist has already moved on after your departure. In many cases, they may have a secondary supply already lined up. This secondary supply is someone who the narcissist has started to engage with, often without fully vetting them. They frequently do this because they want to ensure they have someone ready to fill the void left by you.
When a narcissist discards their current supply, it is usually because they have arranged for this new supply to step in. However, if you were considered "grade A supply," the situation can be quite different. Narcissists are known for their manipulative behaviors, but one critical weakness they have is their inability to foresee the true qualities of potential partners.
They often do not take the time to deeply understand the new person they are bringing into their lives. Instead, they focus on superficial traits that initially attract them. As a result, many times, the new supply may not even come close to matching the value you brought to the relationship. This can lead to situations where the narcissist realizes that their new partner is not a suitable replacement for you.
It's important to recognize that narcissists frequently choose new supplies who do not measure up to their previous partners. It reflects their tendency to settle for less than what they had, often because they are not willing to invest the time needed to find someone better.
This is why you might notice that after a narcissist quickly moves on to a new supply, they often come back to you within a few weeks. The new supply may not meet their expectations, and they are left feeling unsatisfied. Since narcissists often operate on a surface level, they may not realize that the new person is not a true replacement for you. They may have told the new supply whatever they wanted to hear, just as the new supply is likely doing the same in return.

The last message I got was " I dont even like you" all the while he was using a vehicle I had lent...
Came back in very bad condition!
I wrote myself out of the association and have never looked back.
    Best decision I ever made...
Do not care about the the narc or the new supply in the least. Don't want to know. 😮

Maybe some will feel loss, but most have moved on with a new supply. They didn't appreciate anything you did for them.
