KTM brought a very small number of 2018 Freeride E-XC's to the US market (my understanding was to see market reaction and understand the dealer support required). Then in 2020 KTM brought a limited number of the updated (more powerful motor and updated battery) Freeride E-XC's to the US (the model I own). I believe there were a few minor updates in 2021 (better small batter that runs the computer, improved brakes). I am not aware of other updates on the Freeride E-XC's sold in the US market though I heard there is Traction Control on recent models. A few of m friends have owned the 20/21 Freeride E-XC's and they have been trouble free. Mine has about 1800 miles and 120 hours of run time so far.
I want to make mine street legal. Any way you could post how you added turn signals? Otherwise it seems like it comes with all the other electronics you'd need for dual sport stock.
I did not add turn signals and not sure there is any wiring there for them....might be a small harness add on included on Freerides sold in other countries?

i think i like it without the headlight.....the headlight looks too big for it and its color isnt flattering for it.....otherwise i would buy one its awesome

Takes seemingly forever to get people wanting to update these things to new ones, the old ones didn’t go well actually so maybe that’s a reason.

You can remove the headlight and install a number plate (or perhaps a smaller headlight). Freeride E-XC is stealth fun!
