I want to say that "dirtbag leftist" is actually a self-adopted title for an informal group of left-wing media, rather than simply an insult applied by outsiders. I don't know if these two ladies are in fact part of the "dirtbag leftist" group, but I think the article was aligning them with that group somehow, rather than casting an aspersion on their character or their hygiene.

I think what you need to keep in mind is that it's not personal because the vast majority of the twitter accounts that "hate" you are not actually real people, so it's just a small number of people you're dealing with.

I wonder if MK desires to build an entertainment empire,she is very likable,respectable and a true patriot.
She failed miserably in her attempt to go mainstream with a tv talkshow after she left Fox. Viewers just didn’t find her likable or engaging enough. I think it’s safe to say her reach is limited so an empire is probably not in her destiny.

Welcome to the NFL. If she had connected well with audiences and delivered high ratings and cultivated a devoted following like successful daytime talkshow hosts do, her show would still be on the air and she’d be making a ton more money than the golden parachute she got from her contract. Period. None of the other childish soap opera fantasies you’re on about matter, and you sound extremely naive to believe they do. All she had to do was deliver a talkshow format and connect with audiences and she failed. That’s just a fact, and not even a dig on her because it’s a hugely competitive business for advertiser dollars and very few people can connect with audiences the way one needs to in order to be successful in that format. She’s much better suited to looking at a camera and chatting and gossiping about culture war subjects on the internet. And that nonsense about “going into the enemy” is laughable and shows you are naive and clueless about the business of television broadcasting and you see things only from a partisan bubble perspective.
