Everything is a new experience to me, including flying with S7 Airlines. S7 Airlines is a member of OneWorld Alliance, with 5 hubs (Moscow DME, Saint Petersburg, Novosibirsk Tolmachevo, Irkutsk and Vladivostok). As of December 2019, there are 17 Airbus A319-100 which carries maximum 144 passengers.
S7 Airlines does not provide complimentary check-in luggage allowance. I used check in kiosk to print my boarding pass and proceeded to the gate. A simple refreshment (sandwich and drink) is served on this short flight. There is also an inflight magazine (Russian) onboard. However, based on my observation, the seat is very cramped as compared to the other premium and budget airlines. Seat pitch and width are small. I realise the aisle (walkway) on that aircraft is wider than other budget airlines' aisle, at least 2-3 inches wider.
As an overall, not a very bad flight. Cabin crew just did their jobs and rushed everything before the plane descended. But, to fly with this airline again, I will definitely think twice if it's gonna be flights above 2 hours. Perhaps other aircraft type is more comfortable? A question for me to find out.
