For accident I heard in a show on tv the name Thin Lizzy and about Gary Moore has played with them. Gary More I have heard before but never ever heard Thin Lizzy. I understand they was influence for all bands like Van Hallen, Iron Maiden and all the hard rock bands in EUA. Rock! Rock! Pure rock and nothing more!

Are you sure? Phil Lynott has his statue in Dublin so I am not sure if Thin Lizzy were underrated seeing that they are recognised as icons of Irish rock.
I don't know about Thin Lizzy being underrated, but this song is criminally underplayed. I remember it being played ONCE from my youth on a deep cuts session of classic rock radio, but didn't know the name of the song. I only heard it again recently on Jim Florentine. Such a great jam, with awesome lyrics.
this is the best song on Thunder and Lightning imo every member was on fire on this track same with the rest of the album, that solo is mind blowing and that chorus is so strong and addictive, I don't think anyone at the time believed that it would be the last time you'd see that version of Thin Lizzy
Lizzy is one of those bands that had to be seen live to get the full effect. Listening to the albums is great, and Lynott is arguably up there with Dylan, Springsteen as a lyricist, but they really breathed live, and sounded a lot heavier than their albums. I got to see them in medium sized halls twice.I'll never forget the power of it, or Phil's self-deprecating way which invited the audience into his character and personality. Truly amazing artist, and criminally underrated, though respected.
this was the best Lizzy line up for me. John Sykes and Darren Wharton on keyboards brought something fresh to the band.Saw them in Derby on this tour and they were brilliant. Phil had outstanding stage presence.

The riffing is so killer as is the solo ..... not taking anything away from other great artists and guitarists yet this is one of the most impressive performances to me on guitar - believe me that I've have so many I love dearly ... Epic and cheers to all the great artists

Pure lyrical guitar solo, The backing music is just what was needed to get the point across, the vocals and the solo are perfection. The solo is otherworldly.

I think that I remember reading about this incident involving Phil and the minister in one of the following Thin Lizzy / Phil Lynott biographies . It was either 'Philip Lynott,The Rocker' by the late Mark Putterford or 'Thin Lizzy ' by Alan Byrne to the best of my recollection . I definitely read about this event and if I can manage to source the precise article I will let you know.The song in question was definitely 'Massacre'.
Stuart Bailie (New Musical Express) in the inner notes of my 'Johnny The Fox' CD . says that Phil was flown from the USA to a Manchester hospital with infexious hepatitis.He continues "The song Massacre had been prompted by a hospital visit by a Protestant clergyman.He was a nice guy but Phil's Catholic upbringing made him defensive and uptight towards the Reverend.Later Phil realized he had been stupid and so wrote a lyric that condemned prejudice and holy wars".

I'm 44. Didn't get into Thin Lizzy till the mid 90's. I have all Thin Lizzy's records. I love the band.
