Great video! I've only ever decorated real tickets, and it's been a while since I did that. Thank you for showing how to use regular cardstock as well.
Cari, these are great. I love them. They'd also be a great idea for some of those gelli printed strips we all end up with. I've made some tickets from those pieces, and they all look great. Thanks for the tip of clipping the corners with the regular old standard hole punch. Great idea.
Oh my gosh!! Brilliant ❤️ I’m just moving into paper journaling after years of trying to invent my own planners. I have an office of paper supplies that have been sitting for years! What joy, smiles and chuckles you brought me today is remarkable! I absolutely love the simplicity you walked us through making a simple little ticket!👍🏻❤️ never, never thought of using a hole punch for the ticket corners, never ever thought of simply scoring the paper to make rows of tickets! I giggled the whole way and was gab smacked when you decorated them! May I just say a simple thank you! I know you posted this video 8 mos ago, but it is still influencing today! YOU ARE MARVELOUS! Have a very wonderful Monday! Cheers!
Oh these are great! Thank you Very for teaching this. I had no idea how to. Hated buying the $Tree stickers. Tim Holtz are fine, but prefer to make and design my own (different prints & colors). Thanks, Ceri. Like these quick teaching spots too!😊.
This is inGENIUS!!! You are SO creative Ceri! I’m new to your channel I love all your ideas on how to decorate the plain ones, how to use these tickets in various types of journals or even as ephemera in cards, your tips on how to make postage looking stamps, and your thorough explanations of how to create these tickets from 12”x12” card stock! You are very talented and I look forward to learning so much more from you! I’m no spring chicken but I still enjoy learning new things! ❤️👏👏👏👏👏❤️
RUclips suggested you this morning. I have now watched two videos and I am hooked! Not only is your instructions and demonstrations perfectly done, but you get straight to the point. A breath of fresh air! I love this project and will be replicating it by day's end using 12x12's that have been difficult to use in projects til now! Thank you. 😊
Ceri, I LOVE these. Such a simple technique! Great tutorial! I appreciate that you took the time to show us how you select the best background paper, too. (That's a key part of getting a visually pleasing layout on the faux ticket, I think. Thank you, crafty friend. From Cheryl in AZ, USA
Ceri , these turned out so nice. I never would have thought of using a hole punch, such a great idea. Thanks for sharing. There are so many ways to use these. Yay!!! Hi to Biscuit and your Sister. Blessings.
Ab-so-lute-ly love this ticket idea!!! Lord knows all of us who do paper crafting have TONS of papers we don't particularly care for 😕 What a lovely way to make it beautiful and interesting for ephemera! Thank you for sharing your time and creativity with us !! ❤🤗🙏X
I’m always amazed by your ideas and how you execute them! I love this! I’m off to make tickets. I made ID cards the other day after watching your video. I didn’t have those Tim Holtz stamps that are so great but listening to your suggestions as you made them helped me use the ones I had and I was able to create some really realistic ID cards! Like another commenter said, even though these videos may be months or years old, they are invaluable and still relevant and we learn so much from them! Thank you!
Fabulous idea Ceri; I now have hundreds of the little darlings ready to decorate. I used a Tim Holtz pad where the sheets are duplicated 4 to a page. The size is perfect and means that you get some wonderful diversification once they are cut up. I think I might be addicted to making them. I used to perforator as well in the scored lines so they tear easily. Just loving the series as well as everything else that you do; and have you sat on my desk chatting away whilst I’m crafting it’s my idea of fun. Take care and lots of love Janey ❤️
What a quick and easy project this is! Your tutorials are always so easy to understand. And a great way to use more of those 12 x 12s we don't know how to use.
Thank you Ceri for such an organized, specific, artistic, numerous variations to these tickets. Love it! In case you never heard this.... I like your OCD, it is inspiring to me!! Haven’t been crafting.... tested positive for COVID and with asthma.... have it pretty bad. On the mend, though. YOU REMAIN SAFE and BLESSED! Kisses to Biscuit. 🐾
Mr. Ceri , I appreciate your making these tags. I enjoy watching you make many things. It may seem easy but not always to me, but watching you has me wanting to make some tonight. You get my creative juices going. Thank you again. - Patti Mc.
Absolutely love this! I have so much 12”x12” cardstock that would lend itself to this project, as well as all sorts of small ephemera, including a gallon-size bag of real canceled postage stamps from around he world that I got from a world-traveler friend. Thank uou, Ceri, for yet another wonderful video!
This is the second time I have watched this. I cannot wait to make these. The room I craft in is being cleaned at a snails pace. I have OCD and I am going crazy! Walls, furniture, wall unites, floors. Sorry to vent. I just want to use all of these wonderful ideas already.
