Club Penguin, Adventure Time, and Regular Show got me in tears man. Especially Club Penguin. RIP FlowerDaimond, you were my wrongly spelled penguin but you're in my heart my penguin. Adventure Time was one I watched til the end. I loved Adventure Time, even if I was 5 or 6 when I watched it. Same with Regular Show. Creepypasta was nostalgic but I still read/listen to it nowadays since I love horror content. However, Jeff the Killer's image scares me to my core, the creepypasta MAY be bad, but the image haunts me and freaks me out.

I know this wasn’t something others could probably relate to, but I first saw the original Pokémon series on Netflix, then the X and Y series. I loved them both growing up. I also watched Digimon on Netflix as well, specifically Digimon Adventure, Digimon Adventure 02, and Digimon Tamers. I loved all of these series for the lessons they teach and the fight scenes. But I’ll always remember how scared I was of the D-Reaper, the final antagonist of Tamers. Just look up D-Reaper from Digimon and you’ll see why. All series are very nostalgic to me, and I love them all to this day. If I had to make a trauma ice burg for myself, I’d put certain creepy episodes from Pokémon on the top as they’re well known, but Leomon’s death, and the D-Reaper absorbing Jeri lower on the list as they’re much lesser known by gen z kids

    • @monarchschwoop52
      @monarchschwoop52 2 года назад

Jeri’s dreams where she was faceless and her puppet was alive and possession when she attacked her brother were also traumatic

It’s All but a burning memory… the good times we had before things got bad in our lives…. Before depression struck… back when life was simple and we were happy… they are gone… never to be seen again… The friends we made years ago… disappeared from our lives… the good old days are gone and only suffering lies on the road ahead… God I wish I could go back… go back to those years of 2009 - 2014… where I was happy and things were… fun… but it’s all gone now. Only suffering lies ahead of us. Loneliness, terror, societal pressures, taxes and horrific modern finances. We are all headed for suffering and the good times, we’ll they are gone. Those good old times are nothing… but a burning memory…

My own two cents on entries here
My parents never let me watch Spongebob as a kid. Only thing I ended up seeing was the scene from The Great Snail Race where Gary breaks down like a car, which scarred me for a while as a kid.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid made me laugh more than pretty much any other media ever.
I was never really able to get into Minecraft but I liked watching old mod showcases.
I had a Wii but I didn't get many games for it, I was mainly a 3DS and tablet kid.
Angry Birds was the first game I ever played.
I never went to Toys R Us but I was always aware of its existence.
I remember loving a specific video of the PvZ versus mode as well as that one Dorkly video where Wall-Nut gets infected by the zombie virus (I've stumbled into several Dorkly videos and that's one of the only ones I'd say is somewhat funny).
I'm rather firmly part of the FNAF generation, though I don't care all too much about the franchise anymore.
I LOVED Ask Orange. Also I notice that Annoying Orange has become the exact kind of show it was parodying.
I got introduced to Asdfmovie through a Minecraft parody of episode 6.
My schools had Book Fair and I can confirm they still happen.
I never saw people use Beyblades but I remember thinking they were really cool.

Should have said this was the gen z and millennial nostalgia iceberg because, as a millennial, a major part of these actually apply to me

Cross generational stuff is common, my early childhood had a few 90s stuff like Pokemon.

I sincerely feel weird when somebody talks about nostalgia for something from the last decade. Maybe it's cause I'm a 90's kid, but some of these are really too recent to be nostalgic over.

My nostalgia was the Mario games on the internet. Even the bloody ones where I didn’t realize the vulgar and classy humor. Still good though!
