- Do we regret moving back to the UK!? Can you believe it’s been a month since we returned to our home country of England, and it’s been a little bit harder to adjust then we imagined - despite it all though we are so dedicated to making a new life for ourselves with many exciting adventures to come!

That Philippine trip was the reset button for the whole family and individually. You have a chance to see other peoples perspective of life in other culture, it opens wide your understanding and dealings in life. It puts you now in better standing of what future will hold and contentment of life- be happy and let the world be and go with flow of life … you all have a glow in your face and looking great and happy.
Great to see the kids enjoying. Truly the most important thing for them is to be with mom and dad.
There"s no place like home, so happy to see you back to your normal life in the UK though we also miss you and the kids we are glad you continue your blogging🥰

At least you'll both be working while the kids would be at school. You're all blessed. Who knows probably in year or two, you might be able to visit the Philippines again; probably see parts the Visayas and Mindanao regions.
Enjoy! No matter where you are... as long as the fam are all together and happy, that's all that matters, really. Do take care and I hope you are able to share your experiences in the PHilippines with the folks over there.
I've had to move back to the PHilippines after living in the USA for 2o years. Even if I was born in the PHilippines, it was still an adjustment and for a while, I too, felt like I just regressed with RE to my progress in the US. But today, I just see that life as on pause. I have also made a life here. Got to know folks like you who do appreciate the country of my birth more. It was inspiring for me.

I could dial relate with the kevin. Coming back from the Philippines to the United States after a few weeks of rest and relaxation,. I feel the mounting stress building up. I don't look forward to the stress of work, the monotonous routine of life, The stress of Western life.

Thank you Mark, it sure was different to what most familys would choose but we don't regret it at all, sometimes you have to know when to come back another day which is better than going to far. It's hard to accept but doesn't mean it was a failure just mean more adventures to enjoy, we hope that you have many more cool trips

I think the weather if the main difference for me. Generally with warm weather, people tend to go out, with cool weather, people tend to stay in. Then there is the vlogging culture. It is more natural to vlog in places like Philippines than say in US. I tried here and I get looks LOL.

Glad your all back in the U.K but I see you have some culture shock? Price of food cheaper, weird food here for me is way cheaper in the Philippines than in the USA where we came from probably its because you guys were buying food at where you used to live in and around BGC which is high already and not representative of food prices in the Philippines. Now, rent is more in line with most in the WEST 3-4 X than in the Philippines but buying a house here especially in a nice neighborhood is high but not 3-4 X though. Now, services like haircuts, delivery, cleaning and repairs of house is way cheaper in the Philippines than in the west. Example, I got quoted 20K to upgrade a shower only in the USA and for 30K I was able to fully upgrade an entire house here. GL! And Peace out!!

Welcome home to UK. Maybe get some Off-Site Digital short courses while you guys are in UK; then return to BGC and earn GBP at UK rate and spend PH Pesos. The draw-back, you can be working at night when the West is awake. Many Off-Site careers were created as a result of the recent pandemic. Get it started in UK, then move your Home Office to BGC.
