I've been ER nurse here in CA for 21 years, my wife and family moved back to PI 2017 , just come to the US for work. You can't get ahead sa rat race d2 sa america. Try living simple, and get rid of consumer mentality. Be very careful buying a home up keeping and taxes is expensive. You'll realized later, your old and haven't saved up any. My wife is also an RN but living better life in PI. One more thing College in the US extremely expensive. Your kids after college will owe a lot. To be a nurse in CA NOW 2021, 160,000$ per info I got from new RN based here.
Two nurses and you guys didn't do well here in the US? Interesting. My wife is a nurse; she does not even patol the OTs but we are doing well (compared to a lot of people) here in north CA. Our daughter's college fund is funded already. Our property tax is in the $10K now but we're ok, nababawi naman sa refund.

Hi po! nadaan po sa youtube niyo very transparent po lahat kaya gustong gusto ko pinapapanuod video ninyo. I'm learning so much from this video lalo na at we are moving to the US . Ang Indiana po ba a good state para mag start?
Hi. Thanks for watching my vlogs. I used to work in Indiana just right across the border of Illinois. What I can say is that its much cheaper there compared to the other states I lived. Naaalala ko dati yung 1 meal nila was only 2 dollars. But that was 11 years ago so Im sure mataas na ngayon. Mababa lng sweldo ng Nurses nila compared to illinois and overall minimum wage nila but I think kung mababa din ang cost of living you will be ok.
Great vid sir. Nakakamotivate yung mga videos nyo para saking 22yrs old na nag di dream makapunta jan. But now suntok sa bwan pa sir hahahaha more videos sir. Keep safe God bless 🙏🏻
Very informative video sir. New subscriber here. Tatanong kolang din sana what if binata pa and pupunta palang ng states and you have to start from scratch? Papaano kaya ang pag bubudget? Like since binata ako i'd get the cheapest apartment etc. Thank you in advance sa sagot. Love your video!
I live in LA. The cost of living here is really high. I can relate much like when you settled all your monthly bills and you'll end up just having like $100 left. Lol. I make it a habit to put whatever amount I could afford on a separate bank on a monthly basis for rainy days. I just kept in doing this practice then one time I checked my account, I already have like 8k savings! That's a lot for a low-income earner like me who lives on a paycheck to paycheck basis. You just need to have the discipline and right frame of mind to spend wisely. Living in America is hard as opposed to living in the Philippines. We do make choices in life, I chose to live here so these are the implications. Later on, you'll get used to it anyway. Thanks for sharing this video. I can very much relate to it! New subscriber here :-)
Hello po may tanong lang po ako. You don’t have to answer this if you’re uncomfortable. By “low-income earner” how low is it in the USA? As we all know, US has higher standard of living compared to in the Philippines. Again, you don’t have to answer. Thanks.
@@chamachuchi It's ok. Let me give you an overview. Let say you earn an average minimum wage of of $15 per hour, you work 40 hours a week times 4 weeks, that would be around $2,400 per month, Tax will be deducted, SS, etc. Then you pay let say $1,500 for apartment plus utilities, food, car mortgage, health insurance, car insurance. Do you think your monthly salary will suffice. Like everyone else here, you need to get a second job. It's not a bad thing to live here, don't get me wrong. I love living here! Marunong ka lang dapat dumiskarte at mag budget. Eventually, you will get used to it. Tayo pa ba Pinoy eh ang galing natin mag adjust. So there!
@@michaelreyes6146 Thanks for the reply! I’m planning on working in the US, hopefully soon. Nalula ako sa 1500 na apartment. How does it work? Are you paying it for life or is it rent to own?
@@chamachuchi The 1,500 apartment rental is just a standard rate for a studio apartment in LA. And it's just rent and not rent to own. If you can't sustain paying then the landlord can just simply evict you anytime.
