    Correction. Kiif is not a garnet, a more appropriate word for Kiif is "Brick." Garnets are a necessary part of the engine, while Bricks have no impact on setting up the combo. Psiics is a garnet.

      @chineduonwumere5562 10 месяцев назад +3

      How is Kiif either? He can special himself from hand lol he can't be a brick. With any lvl 2 tuner he can go into the new lvl 4 Synchro fish too! You should look into Fishlamp combos

    • @deepseadarew6012

      @@chineduonwumere5562 Bricks usually require other conditions to be met to get on the field or to be useful.
      Kiif needs a Fish on the field and another fish to be banished, Technically you can Normal Summon Kiif, but if you have no banished fish it's not doing anything.
      You're also not using it to go into a lvl 4 Synchro on turn 1. Fishlamp is a turn 3 card.
      Kiif also has no impact on setting up Arionpos combo lines. This all means if draw it with other non-combo piece cards, your hand could 'brick,' leading to sub optimal boards. This is why we play 1x Kiif and not 3x, even though it can special summon itself.

    • @Capta1nTD
      @Capta1nTD Месяц назад

      Pretty sure the difference between a garnet and a brick is that a brick is a bad draw because it either loses you card advantage by being searchable mid combo (so it just inherently makes your hand smaller by drawing it) or it can only extend plays if you already have a starter. A garnet is a card that means drawing it will actively prevent you from doing parts of your combo if not rendering the combo completely useless. Garnets are so much worse than bricks.

    I play Ghoti since release, and after Phantom Nightmare, I simply don't know how to fit everything I want in the Extra Deck anymore. Do I really need 2 Deep Beyond, 2 Askaan and 2 Arionpos? Do I need Icejade Aegerine? The Stardust Package? SP Little Night? Anti-Zeus? Stealth Kragen? Abyss Keeper? Anemone?
    White Aura Porpoise and Fishlamp are even more options. Can you make a video going over the Extra Deck and what you would play/not play?

      If you're running white fish don't bother with fishlamp,it's a fire. Even if you summon it it doesn't really help much ,if you can put another body without the help of white fish engine you probably can get to the lvl6 syncro.

    The new support is neat but they need a little more. Going second is always an uphill battle because they are naturally slow. And they die to nearly every boardbreaker or a simple imperm if you happen to only have 1 tuner during your opp turn

  • @jayduel7897

    Here is the thing. I love ghoti with all my heart. I will continue playing this deck no matter what. BUT. Let's be honest. These combos and interruptions are based on the opponent normal summoning and setting stuff,playing slow. Them starting with droplet, darkruler, imperm, heck even ghost ogre, I mean half the hand traps and any going second cards would neutralize this deck

    • @deepseadarew6012
      @deepseadarew6012  11 месяцев назад

      To be fair, these are only 2 card combos to showcase the new fish. Most games you never just have 2 cards. With 3 or more combo pieces you would end with Dragite and/or Gymir on the field. The new Ghoti cards also make it easier than ever to add Snopios and Zep to the hand, which makes it easier to synchro into Deep Beyond through disruptions.

    Hi, is there an updated combo guide with the 3 new whiteaura cards ?? or are the combos still the same can i do the double deep beyond when i go into the lvl 6 with the white aura cards and 0 cards in hand or field ?

    • @deepseadarew6012
      @deepseadarew6012  7 месяцев назад

      1) I'll be making more Ghoti guides.
      2) If you're playing just Ghoti, then combos are the same. Just summon Arionpos.
      3) You can still go into Double Deep if you summon Arionpos with White Aura, but because you do not make Arionpos with a tuner, you'll have to find a way to get a 2nd turner banished.
      4) This is my White Aura guide from a while ago: ruclips.net/video/EgWJPnM7mWs/видео.html

    do you think that a Shark Ghoti mashup is possible...?

    • @deepseadarew6012
      @deepseadarew6012  10 месяцев назад +1

      Outside of Abyss Shark and Leaffish, no. The other Shark cards lock into Xyzs. Also, Ghoti likes to banish the entire field and Shark Xyzs want to stay on the field.

    • @DewyTheDuelist
      @DewyTheDuelist 8 месяцев назад

      isn't mermaid shark a 1-card combo? normal mermaid, search abyss; abyss special and search leaffish; link into abyss keeper, summon leaffish with keeper eff; then leaffish combos. gives you a bunch of extra fish in gy too

    • @deepseadarew6012
      @deepseadarew6012  8 месяцев назад +1

      @@DewyTheDuelist There are some drawbacks to this combo. It only summons Leaffish, it uses up the Normal Summon, makes you weaker to Nibiru, and takes up extra-deck space. It's also only lvl 1, so if your opp negates it, you can't do any combos off it, unless you have an Abyss Shark in hand or ReadyFusion (Theseus).
      I do use Mermaid Shark in one of my Coel builds because it's a 1 card Abyss Keeper.
      In other Ghoti builds, Tuna, Leaf, and Paces already take up all the Normal Summon space.

    can the new big fish replace abyss shark?

    • @deepseadarew6012
      @deepseadarew6012  11 месяцев назад +4

      Abyss Shark cannot be replaced, but Coelacanth can be played at 1 in addition, since we can search it.

    • @Goallpeashooters
      @Goallpeashooters 10 месяцев назад

      @@deepseadarew6012 I play without Abyss Shark and it works just fine. I replaced it with Minairuka, and that actually increased my decks consistency I feel. Abyss Shark can often cut you off from Special Summon plays, so I much prefer to go without it.

    • @deepseadarew6012
      @deepseadarew6012  10 месяцев назад

      @@Goallpeashooters Mathematically, Abyss Shark is one of the biggest things you can add to increase consistency. 1) It searches for multiple types of monsters 2) It can 2 card combo with pretty much any combo piece in the deck.
      One of the problems I've seen, is a lot of people don't know the combo lines with Abyss Shark.

    • @Goallpeashooters
      @Goallpeashooters 10 месяцев назад

      @@deepseadarew6012 perhaps not knowing the combos is my issue. With or without Abyss Shark, the deck works fine. If I find myself having problems in the future, I may go learn those combos.
