My honest suggestion would be to make it a proper drift car. You can source a used transmission from a scrapyard, upgrade the brakes and suspension (which you were gonna do anyways), put a bolt-on roll cage and tear apart all the luxury bits in car. The reason for suggestion is since you will not drive it as a daily driver as it is a gas-guzzling mean machine so why not make it a hooligan machine.😄
The fuel economy of that car may be low due to some transmission problems i am not an expert but i think the economy might improve after the transmission issue gets resolved
The car is very nice for the price you paid. If you would have bought it for 40 lakhs and the face problems, it would be fine. But getting this car for 2 lakh is great deal. Guys use swift with dead condition for 2 lakhs. and you got a car with such a brand value. If you get the car repaired and just put 2-3 lakhs more it would be very good and will be faster than audis and mercedes'
The steering wobble on this car is entirely expected, given the condition of your brakes. I bought and drove my E91 with most of the same issues for almost 4-5 months. Changed the brakes to drilled and slotted, did complete preventive maintenance gasket, hoses, and spark plugs and now it runs like a charm. For the transmission, I would say try looking for a refurbished tranny in Mumbai. (Hopefully, you can find a rare ZF 6speed, not sure if there are many in India). If not, I can happily help you source a used one from the USA, there are tons of these in the scrapyards.
Never buy a German car especially newer models half of engine is cheap plastic but you pay a lot of money and you wil pay even more in parts...Im so happy i sold my bmw i have money but its aggravating every time it broke wasting my time

I later picked another white elephant and did justice to my reputation. Absolutely loved the fact that you picked this up. if the tranny could not be salvaged I'd strongly suggest u to manual swap the car, I my self am looking for this car or a 330i to do a manual swap. altho it might be pain in the butt to find the right tranny and drive shaft etc, but if u have enough patience I bet it would be worth your time and money.
if the model is from before 2010 then 5/6 lacks that's if the condition is good, if there is any major issue such as engine, transmission, suspension etc then the price could drop as low as 2lacks, in any case don't pay over 5/6L for a car older then 12 years

@@pranavchillal8868 hi brother the market value for the car can be anywhere between 9-15 lakhs as mine being m sport and with optional accessories my car was near about 15 but one question are there any 330i being sold in India currently as it is a very rare car maintenance is on the higher side but this engine n52b30 is the most reliable bmw engine ever made and one of the best engine but parts like suspension don’t have that much life they last not more than 20k kms and for all 4 suspension from company is 1.5 lakhs which I got replaced as the suspension was completely collapsed

Instead of changing the whole suspension setup , swap the suspension with an air ride setup . That would at least add some extra appeal to the car
