In short. It’s a convo between two dead ppl. (Lovers) and in his passing he watched over her. Now in her passing, the shock is preventing her from crossing over. So he proceeds to call on her “remember me , I gave you life.” Great reaction, one of my favorite DT songs.
it would seem they're a superband but no, they're a band. their lineup changed throughout the years but they've been active since 1985 (under the name Majesty 85-88)
A supergroup is a band comprised of members from other well known musical acts, so Dream Theater would not count since they had a completely original lineup at the beginning. Liquid Tension Experiment, however, would count as 2 of the members (at first) were from Dream Theater, another being Tony Levin from King Crimson, and the 4th being Jordan Rudess whom was a successful solo keyboardist since childhood and had made many appearances in various media prior to LTE, including his own studio albums.
Great to see you back on DT, their technical brilliance is astounding equal to any renowned orchestral ensemble. Changing gears, recommend the live version of "As I am" from the incredible "Live at Budokan" DVD, which showcases their rockier side. Also a few new artist suggestions, both of which are major DT influences: Kansas, arguably America's greatest prog rock band & the songs "Carry on my wayward son", "The Wall" & "Song for America". Also the brilliant fusion guitarist Al Di Meola & "Egyptian Danza" & "Chasin' the voodoo" the first two electrifying tracks from his incredible Casino album. Enjoy!! Cheers
Great reaction. Thanks for sharing. Here's a suggestion - '"Kindred Spirits" by Liquid Tension Experiment. Don't listen until you sharing your reaction. :) A few of the same band members are in the same band as Dream Theater.
Ok yeah. I get it. Thanks for the selection. Maybe I could add another band to the crowded top-whatever. But never above Yes and Floyd ❤ Some parts remind me of Hawkwind actually, which is good. Now Genesis. Bit of Zeppelin; the recurring motifs of Yes. Glad I made the effort.
It’s pretty essential to their sound, though I do think the keyboards were better utilised on their earlier records. Don’t know how many albums they have left in them, here’s to hoping they do a song without keyboards since Jordan is a competent guitarist as well.
This is not your some regular band. You hear and experience complete music whether you like it or not. Others band writes music what their fans want but DT is completely different. They are versatile and not stick with one thing
Never before I see someone wearing AC Milan jersey with Champions League badge and at the same time react to Dream Theater. Just amazing man

Ok. Been with you for years and Yes, Floyd, and Genesis are tops for me. This is my first-ever listen to this band. I trust your judgment. Let’s see…
I know the song, Pull Me Under. Which is an awesome song. These guys are a super group, right? Like they are all masters of their craft.

That, Universal Mind, or Acid Rain would be a great way to introduce anyone to LTE.
Now that wasn't bad at all enjoyed it. Almost uplifting, don't want to say spiritual. Nice Pope
I love your selection one of my favs, do "endless sacrifice" live a Budokan and its well you will see......
Hey Pope!! Please react to Dark Eternal Night from this same tour (Chaos In Motion 2007). It's totally insane and bonkers. 🤯🤯

I hate their keyboards. Would be such a good band if they eliminated the goofy keyboards

You’re not right for this type of music so keep it moving. No harm done!

This music too complex for you it’s ok. Some people like Big Macs and some like Filet Mignon.
