    We just drove through there Nov 1. It was streaming on both sides of the road and people had just started to return home. So sorry for all those effected.

    Wow what a surprising eruption. I hope the authorities can repair the road like they have done in the past.

    The flow is nowhere near the town. This title is VERY misleading. The flow is way north of the town between Stora and Sylinger hills. It has taken out the Blue Lagoon parking lot and is heading further west. It is NOT flowing either east or south, so it can't affect any towns or farms on the south coast.
