I remember playing this at an Internet cafe at the corner of 5-Mile rd and Overland Dr in Boise Idaho, 1997. The place is a random random bridal shop now.

First of all, I freakin' LOVE your title card. The art is amazing. I would watch more like this just to see your title card.
I think there's a modern PC port released recently that might be easier to run on modern rigs. That is assuming this isn't what you're playing right now.
I recommend Neverwinter Nights for a future play, I found it to be a great replacement for Diablo when my wife banned all DIablo from the house. I especially recommend the Hordes of the Underdark expansion over the Main game. Hordes is a fuller game experience compared to the main game as it adds so much to the basic game. Also the story is far better in the expansion (not that the OG story was bad, it was just alightly more basic in comparison). Hordes also has the Companion Deekin, who I love because he was so funny :)

There's a key, I think it's CTRL that you hold that stops your character in place, so you can fire arrows without moving.

i'm enjoying the lil diablo binges but if you want something cozier for self-care purposes it does feel like Stardew is your obvious choice
