That track looks super smooth compared to what you've been running on!
Being first out on wet track either helps or hinders you. But the more laps your adding weight and getting slower, everything mud packed on.
I think that it would help these guys tremendously if they would send their two guys to the Longhorn school to learn how to set the cars up.

Maybe, but neither of the cars that they were in in this video were Longhorn. So that is kind of irrelevant for this one. Unless Longhorn has any insider info for 28 Special chassis then they are SOL. Any issues with Jesse's car they just call the fella up at Capital. Joe has him on speed dial usually.
@@jimrice7473 yes Longhorn has a setup school that people can pay to go through.
@@paparaysphotography the guy at Capital didn’t help that much when they had 3 of them or they wouldn’t have switched to Longhorn.
@@TonyWilhoitGood point but not hard to believe they switched since Longhorn was basically winning everything at the time and they probably had a sponsor whispering sweet nothings in their ears as well strongly suggesting the move.
And lets not forget WAY back in the day before they even had a Capital and was still driving the 4 Sale car and the yellow and purple car, Joseph said he BADLY wanted a XR1 (I believe it was and stand corrected if I am wrong) at the time. They just ended up getting a honey of a deal on a Capital and thus that story began.
So they have went from 28 Special originally (Now the simulator in Dads shop I believe since gone), to MasterSbilt, to wanting the XR1, to Capital to Longhorn and Capital to now possessing another 28 Special.

From what I could tale the track looked dry but it seemed smooth and Racey..Both Jesse and Joeseph seemed fast in their groups

Can teams run data acquisition on practice nights? Some sensors on shock travel, g meter and pair that up with TPS, maybe a brake sensor you’d have some serious idea of good vs bad setups, what the track is doing and whether changes actual help the car corner faster etc..

Why the change in chassis again?
Free chassis
They worked with him a long time ago on Chassis and it worked out I guess. Plus some other things to over the years. Dirt daddy had one back around 21 I believe and had success in it. So they asked these guys if they would be willing to try it. And clearly they said yes. And to me it doesn’t look too bad of a race car. But Joey did say it best at the end of the vid. They have old tires and the track wasn’t the greatest. Good tires, better track prep for the race. That will be the true test of that chassis
They can learn allot from in car vids of these fast guys. They need to do some weekly research and looking at what they’re missing !!

Nothing against Chase but the races he has won were low car counts (which he can't control) but this weekend will be a different animal with 35+ cars there.

Man I miss the good old days of when we’d get 30mins of you guys building or rebuilding a car!! You guys get a free brand new 38 special ROLLER to race and PROMOTE to sell, and we barely got one video of you guys building the car!!! This channel has turned into a car show on the “speed” channel or motor trend tv!! Cmon boys we miss the good old days and the videos that made you guys famous, just cause got a big sponsor and make shit ton of money dont mean nothing keep it how it used to be that’s what us fans love! And we loved dirt daddy being involved in the videos in any capacity now he don’t even speak on camera!

I've got a question don't mean nothing bad you're super you got a longhorn chassis you got a Clements motor same as the Lucas oil boys are running they're winning races why are you being lapped last year you did so good this year you're struggling really bad why is that
Not claiming to know anything, but they went from a Mastersbuilt to a Capital to a Longhorn in fairly quick succession, and it really seems that these chassis (and shock combos) are drastically different from each other, on top of those factors they have the most eyes on them mounting extra (likely not wanted) pressure
They only been to these tracks once maybe twice. Got to build a note book among a hundred other things. Don’t worry they will shine 🏁💯👍
