I just noticed that when the moonlight boy transforms into Griffith, he cries on his left eye, which is the same eye he had open as a baby... Like saying the demon child was crying for being taken over by griffith.
During Femto's incarnation, re-incarnated Griffith remarked that some warmth he was feeling was due to the unexpected presence of the unborn baby. This might have prompted Griffith to go check for himself later on, on the Hill of swords. Also, Skull night gives a prediction/warning to Guts that "what he wants may not be what Caska wants", most likely hinting at the dilemma that the moonlight child poses.
@@pearan If by "incomplete" you mean 'not completely demon (or demon-kind)' then Yes, re-incarnated Griffith is not entirely demon-kind because of the moonlight boy.

11:15 You made a mistake again, he didn't know it was his baby until Skull Knight told him and that was after the Demon Baby disappeared into daylight. Guts even cryied after this.
I wonder if the only way to kill Griffith is to kill him in the form as the moonlight boy. In other words guts would need to kill his own son to end Griffith. This is pure speculation, but it would make for a interesting yet, devastating solution.
That’s too simple and straightforward. Personally I believe that Moonlight boy will serve a greater purpose in the undermining of Femto. Perhaps even he will be the one to defeat Griffith
@@rhett3185 Sure it might be a bit on the nose, but considering the way it was introduced it seems to be a vice that can be exploited. How it will play out i will not claim to know.
The thing is, I've always had my suspension of moonlight boy. What gave the biggest obvious hints were Zodd following him and that one page where Griffith's hair was darkening.
Wtf are you talking about😂 guts didn’t sell his kid to get raped he has treated the moonlight boy 100 times better than gambino treated guts stop reading beserk of youtube and pick up a manga😂
Don't sit there act like you wouldn't freak out if a literal demon came out of your wife's womb the only time guts missed treated his son was when he rightfully thought it was a demon but after it tranformed into a normal boy hes treated him alot better
I think the tragic part about this boy is that (seemingly) if Guts wants to truly get rid of Griffith's physical form he has to kill his and Casca's child.
This is a little too cliche for Berserk, but I hope to see some kind of internal struggle between Griffith and The Moonlight Boy, where the Moonlight Boy basically tells Griffith to back off and not hurt its parents. Again, probably won't see it, but I think the poor kid needs to get his say in at Griffith too.
Seems pretty obvious that something like what you are saying is going to happen. At the moment in the story the moonlight boy is very likely going to lead to Griffiths end. People think their child was required in the rebirth, but I don't think it was. I think the egg of the perfect world screwed things up for Griffith bigtime when he took pity on the demon child and saved him. Just to remind you the boy shares a body with Griffith but unlike Griffith the boy never sacrificed his humanity. The god hand themselves may even betray Griffith because of that.
In the future Moonlight boy could bring peace to the physical world, astral world and ideal world. He is omnipotent beings only person who can do this job.
Casca would not allowed Guts to killed the Child, worse this Child will cause a rift between Guts and Casca, Guts hatred can't be tempered and Casca love has a mother will be in the way.
I'm really hoping the ending will have guts saving both casca and his son from Griffith so even if guts dies he will have succeeded in his own kind of redemption
Man, I wish Berserk could get a good adaptation. The films were good, but the 2016 anime was HORRIBLE! I don't know which was worse...Berserk 2016 or 7ds season 3-5.
I find it fascinating how this being of evil known as the egg genuinely showed compassion and this potentially setup a critical failing point. I haven’t read berserk but saw info here and there. With the fan animated series trailer by Studio Eclipse, I genuinely want to know more. It’s so complex and fascinating
Idk how he didn’t know he was his son lol he look just like both of them lol he definitely has guts face features eyebrows with Cascas eyes and hair i was like that’s y’all baby lol ..also the same eye that’s open for guts is the eye he cries outta and the eye that was open as a demon child
So demon child was dying from saving casca until the egg ate it and fused it with griffith. Now he exists as moonlight boy and we no longer see demon child.
Griffith's sperm cover Casca's ovary along with Guts sperm too, the whole Casca and Guts sex and Griffith's and Casca sexual relationship Skull Knight words during the eclipse took six days . The Moon Light boy has two fathers Guts DNA, Griffith/Femto Godhand powers DNA sperm and Casca love of two men.
Griffith corrupted the foetus. It's was Guts and Casca sperm and egg that generated the child. Griffith/Femto changed what it would be of the future child by affecting it in other plane of existence... It has nothing to do with DNA... Griffith had no living body as Femto. Casca had a miscarriage as consequence. The "demon child" is a deformed aborted foetus that only exists as an astral being. Griffith isn't a father, on the very contrary, as an otherwordly demon, he raped a pregnant Casca and induced an abortion, breaking her mind and creating an unresting ghost foetus.
@@orafaelnl it took six days for an Ovary of a female to fertile a child in the womb and 3-4 days for the embryo to develops from the ovary cells. What Griffith did to Casca with his Sperm DNA was overline Casca's ovaries with Guts sperm to created the Child, which Griffith know before he was born the lake vision with Casca and the boy, Berserk Chapter 72. The Moonlight boy has two father because Griffith/ Femto Godhand powers by his seman ejeculation inside Casca show how desperate Griffith was to lay over his Sperm with Guts in Casca's Ovaries. The reason why Griffith tried to kill himself in the lake, he could not embrace Casca or touch her and the boy a man that cannot hold and feel his love ones will become depressed and want to end his life the suicide attempt, when Casca said: " Just the three of us with you and the boy." Griffith wanted a family with Casca and Guts son, it is Griffith wish or desire that led him to do those things in the eclipse and his needs and satisfaction to have sexual relations with Casca, he wants his own family.
here's my theory: essentially I don't believe that it's Femto and the Moonlight boy who share a body but Femto, the Moonlight boy and Griffith. in Chapter 364 Griffith says "I had a dream, that on nights of the full moon I become a little child, embraced by nostalgic warmth. But when I wake from that dream all Im left with is a faint feeling of loneliness. And that too will soon disappear with a single tear (fleeting) like morning dew." I believe this hints at three stages in this transformation 1. "I had a dream, that on nights of the full moon I become a little child, embraced by nostalgic warmth": Femto becomes the moonlight boy who goes to his parents, protects them and has some little bonding time 2. "But when I wake from that dream all Im left with is a faint feeling of loneliness": The moonlight boy goes through a transitionary phase and turns into Griffith with all his humanity intact, capable to reflect upon his actions, feel the guilt and shame that comes with it, realize that he was coerced by the godhand into making the sacrifice, and ultimately regrets it but is capable to do nothing except wait knowing what comes next 3. "And that too will soon disappear with a single tear (fleeting) like morning dew": Griffith sheds one single tear before his heart is frozen once more and Femto returns I like this idea because it humanizes Griffith and adds a sense of tragity to his character without actually redeeming him, since the one who violated Casca is still the real enemy and doesn't care for any of this. I would also add that Griffith and Femto aren't so much different personalities as much as the same person with and without his humanity. I always felt that the main villain of one of the best peaces of fiction in general being just a cold calculating space demon for the ladder 60% or so of the story was kinda weird. You could also argue that instead of it being Griffith it's the moonlight boy realizing his time is up and he has to leave and cries because of that, which Im sure is the more popular theory but I like mine more because I think it adds more layers to the 2nd most important character in the story, but both work just fine. there is also the statement during the eclipse about Griffiths last cristalized tear, but the only reason why we're in this situation is because certain turns of events happen outside the plans of causality, or arguably just the godhand making mistakes in understanding causality in which case the question becomes if Void or the idea of Evil told Griffith that "this" is the cristalization of the last tear you'll ever shed
