It's a good theory but the sacrifice is more like a symbolism or a mean to an end. Griffith did sacrifice everyone including Guts and Casca, but the Skull knight just saved them. You can’t say fuck destiny, even if you don’t want it that doesn’t matter destiny = it will happen. Even if Griffith wasn’t tortured by the king he will be broken somewhere down the line and become Phemto which is the causality of him being broken. Cause and effect, him broken = Phemto

Most of the times sure, but exceptions and exist and that means chains can be broken, it just not easy. I had an experience were I watched golden age with an friend and it says alot about Griffiths charisma that he didnt noticed any red flags not even the the evil smiley. Also we all love and admire Guts but you can argue that he deserved alot of the shit, he killed an innocent child, yes he felt guilty, but I think you get the point. Thats top tier character writing, that we are so in love with the charakters that we often oversee the evil in their actions.
I don't see how people say Griffin did nothing wrong!? His the definition of a psychopathic narcissist! He cares for no but himself and nothing is his fault! His horrible.
Light Yagami is almost like Griffith Jr. Both are pretty boy, ambitious narcissists with some very confusing feelings about how the feel about their main rival/bff Both defeat their rivals and ascend to "god hood." Both have an arc where they lose part of themselves. Both are excellent manipulators who themselves can't see that they are being manipulated by a greater evil. Both betrayed everything and everyone they ever cared about to become new beings in exchange for power. And in all honesty, I don't think Guts will be the one to defeat Griffith for 2 reasons. 1) That doesn't seem to be the theme of the story and Guts has moved past that 2) A warrior's death is too good for Griffith. Griffith will most likely have a death that is deeply humiliating and is caused by his own hubris. Have you noticed how in the past 4/5 God hand where different members? Ever wonder what happened to the other 4? It's likely that they were pulled into the abyss/ Hell. Just as Griffith will be.
I haven't read the manga yet, but knowing that the king of midland has attraction to his own daughter answered my question as to why, despite his kind aura, ended up becoming brutal to Griffith. Griffith though, as I watched the anime, has two critical errors: first is his ideal speech with the princess which Guts heard, causing him to part ways from the Band of the Falcon, and second, his personal advances to the princess that lead into his torture.
Griffith probably could've told the demons not to kill anybody or let them be killed because he wanted to see if they joined him after becoming femot but i don't know if they would've listened but he could've at least saved a few of his comrades if he couldn't save all of them
Anyone ever heard of something called a “femtometer” it’s 10^-15 meters. 1.6 Fm is roughly the size of protons and neutrons. I was thinking it’s interesting because it’s such a crazy “negative” # obviously Griffith fell deep into the abyss, he went far into the negative. Also Fm is used to measure and describe what makes the fabric of reality. Idk I find it really interesting, and I am curious how the name Femto was picked.
The stories in berserk show humanity for centuries tbh. Thats why its hard to watch sometimes. I just know there are so many lives that passed through time who experienced this disgusting stories or worse.
Honestly idk if Griffith was wrong or not because he didn't actually know that would happen but on the other hand he kept it after the lady told him hell would come out of it if he dropped it in water and he had a feeling it would happen and still held on to it
Griffith is the inverse of the Holy Trinity. One being, but multiple people. There is Femto (The Father) aka Satan, Griffith (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit (Falcon of Light). Griffith is not Femto, even tho they are the same being.
Batman Berserk Version 💀 I just wunder if Femto would be so gangsta, if Guts had the Berserker armor at that time, when he was traped in that hell hole with him...
@runthatback323 respectfully, thats the very definition of evil. IE: All that matters is his goals, any harm that comes from it is jus the price HE is willing for YOU to pay. In the end Griffith is the definition of petty, manipulative, narcissistic selfishness that garbs himself in nobility and righteousness. The only redeeming thing he had was the Band of the Hawk itself, this family he built around himself. His bond with Casca and Guts in particular. The godhand may have pushed him over the edge at exactly the right moment, but the seeds for Femto where there right from the start. In the end there isn't anything that Griffith isn't willing to sacrifice for his dream. My question: What happens when he get his 'Dream'? Will it be enough? Or will his ego be the thing that brings it all down, just as before, and possibly giving Guts and co the opening they need.
Ich finde es richtig schade, dass der Anime nie so richtig fortgesetzt wurde alles, was man noch bekommen hat, war eine CGI Fortsetzung aus der Hölle, die genauso gut von der PS2 hätte kommen können
His pride which probably explains why he can do things like summon wind after his reincarnation because he's so obsessed with himself that he believes himself to be his own author
I agree Femto is my favourite character in berserk. I’m hoping Femto wins and kills guts and all of the god hand except for the only female member she’s awesome as well
I agree anyone in his place would do it it’s part of human nature to be selfish and wanting power not to mention anyone would do anything to be cured of all of the torture he had done to him
@jackgibson16, I would like to clarify that it was a translation error that occurred in the naming of the Band of the Hawk. The original name intended by Kentaro Miura was the Band of the Falcon, inspired by the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars. The helmet of Femto/Griffith was designed to resemble a falcon's head. Unfortunately, due to a kanji character mix-up, the name was mistakenly translated as the Band of the Hawk in the english version. Most wikis have since corrected this error and now refer to the group as the Band of the Falcon or the Falcon of Light. I hope this clarification is helpful
Femto is my favourite character in berserk I truly hope Femto wins and kills all of the god hand members except for the only female member and kills guts as well. That's the thing tho, it wasn't destiny, it was causality. Something void is always talking about. Griffith becoming femto was gonna happen one way or another.
You can’t say fuck destiny, even if you don’t want it that doesn’t matter destiny = it will happen. Even if Griffith wasn’t tortured by the king he will be broken somewhere down the line and become Phemto which is the causality of him being broken. Cause and effect, him broken = Phemto
@@Imozart0341I Thats not true. Destiny is given to people in Berserk universe, but they still have option not to accept it to a certain extent. Thats why they say everything is a spiral, the destiny you are talking about means everything is going to keep happening the same way it was destined, but thats simply not true. Most of the times sure, but exceptions and exist and that means chains can be broken, it just not easy. Griffith still made a FREE decision and thats the important thing, causality brought him to moment in time to choose if he wants to do that or not, and both answers were a possibility. Also awareness of causality makes it easier to make better calls.
Talk is cheap my guy, you have no idea what you would or wouldn’t do at gunpoint
@@darkcasterx4628So you would agree that you specifically might SA your own mom if a gun was pointed at you? Cause like you said, talk is cheap, you might do it. You can’t possibly have any idea what you might do.
I have figured out how it will end, one of the magic Users will probe Guts's mind. Seeing Griffith's Ascension hearing Griffith's Astral Name Femeto and tell it to Ricthert. Using that name he will get him to stand still as A Beast of Darkness possessed Berserker Guts strikes him down.
So basically this all happened bc Griffith is a sore loser?
Damn.
Bro this video only needed to be 7 minutes tops. You spent the rest of the video promoting your other “breakdowns” . Not a fan of that. I bet if I go to your other videos it’ll be exactly the same… giving us 15 minutes of useless info to promote your other videos then 5-7 minutes of actual contextual information. I hope this criticism helps with your future videos. ✌️
Both are pretty boy, ambitious narcissists with some very confusing feelings about how the feel about their main rival/bff
Both defeat their rivals and ascend to "god hood."
Both have an arc where they lose part of themselves.
Both are excellent manipulators who themselves can't see that they are being manipulated by a greater evil.
Both betrayed everything and everyone they ever cared about to become new beings in exchange for power.
And in all honesty, I don't think Guts will be the one to defeat Griffith for 2 reasons.
1) That doesn't seem to be the theme of the story and Guts has moved past that
2) A warrior's death is too good for Griffith.
Im glad dudes who watch stories can speculate on how the character feels, place yourself in griffiths shoes and then say this bull...
Dude is a dirky fellow..and with a name like Femto he isn’t going very far.
Dirky?
I haven't read the manga yet, but knowing that the king of midland has attraction to his own daughter answered my question as to why, despite his kind aura, ended up becoming brutal to Griffith.
Griffith though, as I watched the anime, has two critical errors: first is his ideal speech with the princess which Guts heard, causing him to part ways from the Band of the Falcon, and second, his personal advances to the princess that lead into his torture.
Does guts not tie Griffith to his humanity
Particular isn't pronounced particularily or it would be spelled that way its like saying nucular

@@jamein2812 they do it on purpose to drive up engagement
Honestly idk if Griffith was wrong or not because he didn't actually know that would happen but on the other hand he kept it after the lady told him hell would come out of it if he dropped it in water and he had a feeling it would happen and still held on to it
Everything he ever did was to aggrandize himself.
Griffith was also Known for that scene were he force himself on Casca to Sptite guts and worse Corrupted Guts and Cascas child

Griffith is the inverse of the Holy Trinity. One being, but multiple people. There is Femto (The Father) aka Satan, Griffith (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit (Falcon of Light). Griffith is not Femto, even tho they are the same being.
100% that’s too deep thinking for here though

Grifith is the most evil villain in Manga history.
Nope hes stand above evil and good , he would be good or bad only if its neccesary for his dream
@@runthatback323 killing your friends and rape your companions is evil.

@jackgibson16,
I would like to clarify that it was a translation error that occurred in the naming of the Band of the Hawk.
No I’m not saying any of that to make anyone angry or anything like that I just prefer the villains most of the time. Its not that he did nothing wrong, it's like it would be impossible not to go down the same path he did as a human.
It is a Faustian Bargain. It is "understandable" why he did it. But this is always the classic temptation. These pop up in tiny versions in our everyday life.
