This video is exactly what I needed to see. I’ve been having trouble with my hp 54” cutter reading when I laminate my film. Can you please let me know what brand vinyl and laminate you are using here?
@@zanettashelley41 when making decals I use hp prime gr which you can get from lexjet.com and you can get there laminate to pair with it. Car wrap doesn’t work that well for decals.
@@GNSDesignsWraps Thank you so much! I was about ready to sell my plotter. You gave me hope. I really do appreciate you responding back.
Hey, just picked up this combo myself, Kiss cuts are working great, but have you tried a "flux cut" or through cut? I am having a hard time getting it to cut through the backing paper to make stickers and labels. any help is appreciated man! THanks!
Did you have a problem when you first calibrated the machine saying pinch rollers not reading ?
The calibration the issue your going to have, you need to make sure all the pinch rollers are in the locking position.
I had that issue until I figured it out. It was a fight but after that your good to go.
wondering if you could do a video or let me know on how to make this more efficent just got my hp115 with cutter and its jagged and slow theres no info online on this stuff thats helpful. or point me to where to go to get more clean efficent deep cuts. thanks man!
Good morning! And congratulations on your new cutter printer set up! So your images are probably pixelated and need to be cleaned up so that the cutter can cut it clean and fast. You have to use like coral draw, or adobe photo shop or affinity to get what your looking for. But I can make a video to kinda show how to do that.
@@GNSDesignsWraps images are super clean I’m talking straight lines even super basic shapes it was set at 800 even but I think I figured it out a little more, with cut through options I found you have to make the cut thru pass longer. I was using perf cut so it was a pain to even get the vinyl out tearing the paper. not sure if that’s even the correct way of doing it. But at midnight Las right did a test and finally got a good result. Any tips on getting the cut thru more efficient and clean would be helpful
@@GNSDesignsWraps also thank you!!!
What kind of vinyl do you use and can it cut htv? Is it a specific htv?
When printing oh HTV I use Briteline g flex you can order it from Grimco! Prints and cuts!
Summa or HP, whats better?
You know I’ve had no issues with ho plus it’s print ready same day and not having to worry about gasing out.
