Personally I love 15's for cars with big trunks like a box chevy, not much you can't do in those trunks. Two 15's (or if you prefer 12's, 10's, etc) of whatever brand in an enclosure built to specs with an amp big enough to do the job and an electrical system (high output alt, big strong batteries, thickest wires possible, big 3) to reduce or eliminate voltage drop, that would be banging. Woofer brand don't really matter but the enclosure does. As far as amps go, I wouldn't go cheap there because you might end up with a 2000watt boss amp that's only good for 200watts. For amps, I'd choose Rf, Zapco, orion, maybe soundtream, crescendo, Jl Audio, kicker, sundown, dc, skar because I trust these to do rated power or above. 15s? I have 2 12s that hit wayyy harder than most 15s. Plus 15s take up more space. (DC AUDIO SUB AND CRESCENDO AMP)
