its incredible, how shes young but can play the elegancy of an woman whos lived an wonderfull life and is now 80 years old.
107 anos.
Your sentence should read: "It's incredible, how she's young but can play the elegance of a woman who has lived a wonderful life and is 89 years old."
That's what I like about her acting. She has that elegance in her.
love the fact that she's wearing the same dress as when she took that photo, about 72+ years ago.
Hindi dub release date
“I just wanted to spend 27 floors with you.” Damn that’s a good line
It's not a line if you actually want to speak to the girl badly enough.
"I'm Ellis." "Like the island?" "No man is." Nothing like turning a casual remark about your name into a reference about 17th century poetry. Such brilliant writing.
That eye contact was everything
It was rare magic
❤
Damn .. always loved Blake and I think she did a wonderful job in this movie.
she did a good job doing this movie with harrison ford
Love her in this role! The classiest lady without being boring.
I watch this movie just to enjoy her gratefulness ❤
Blake was wonderful in this movie, excellent actress, too bad she didn’t get any recognition for it and sorry that she is not in more films, she is very talented
I think she probably is focused on family life! She certainly doesn't need to being married to her Ryan Reynolds
It was a good movie. The only weird thing is she slept with both dad and son. They could of make the relationships distant a little bit. Maybe close family friend or uncle or something.
Or set it in Alabama.
It's what Hollyweird is about. No morals nor standards
The truth behind this movie is dark and is the reality in Hollyweird
Why do you think of this detail 🤡
I mean. It’s not that weird. There’s so many cases in real life where people sleep with or marry the father of their ex bf. And this was in a situation where they didn’t even know
@@sxn0366 what type of world you living in?!
Funny how you can make time bend when locking eyes with a loved one 😆😍
Well said 🙏🙏🙏
There is a real natural elegance, maturity, wisdom, power & dignity to Blake Lively that often shines through beautifully in almost every character whom she depicts, superb & layered actress that Blake is. I could watch her forever she is that wonderfully captivating, that endearing & that amazingly magnetic. The girl is a superstar! She is far more than just an astonishing beauty possessed of spellbinding charms (Blake's beauty is unreal & ethereal). She is very talented & versatile, brilliant & naturally fun loving. A woman to greatly admire & appreciate. Blake! The God's favor You My Dear!
I appreciate a man that goes after what he wants 💯
This is a very underrated movie, thought it was beautiful
Beautiful movie, more movies like this should be made.
Him sliding on the floor gets me every time 😂
If any guy was that smooth with his lines, I'd worry about what kind of person he is.
Yea if he was any other dude but Michiel Huisman he'd be wayyy creepy.
Y'all are something else....
@@SueMeriah the old saying that a normal person does something and it's creepy, but a handsome guy doing it, is so sweet.
I read she got to keep all of the outfits ❤️ 👗 👠 🥂
That was the movie where I went, "Damn, that is a beautiful woman!" My first time really discovering Blake Lively. It was also a pretty good movie.
She’s so beautiful!
6:32 - idk why but the dialogue delivery here by Blake is top-notch. Amazing, she knows she is gorgeous but doesn't come off as arrogant.
One of my fav movies ❤
Me to, I adored it.
Да, мне тоже этот фильм очень нравиться!!! Я его пересматриваю, когда хочу поднять себе настроение.
I'm surprised i'm never seen this movie... It looks absolutely amazing.
It is a great movie, you should watch it.
Did you see the movie?
@marymem9864 no not yet..
@jesusrios9482
My local library had a copy to lend. Maybe yours does too. Have a great day!!!
I wouldn't like to stay young forever while watching everyone else i love getting old and dying! That would rip my heart out, for sure!💔
One of my favorite movies
The best actor’s play ever!
What I'm always wondering in this scene is how the hell the blind friend didn't feel that her skin and face is that of a 28 year old. Having said that - I love this movie and I happily overlook this question when viewing it. But I'm hoping someone has a good answer that will explain.
she didnt inspect her in details. I am more wondering how did he stop the car with hand :)
I thought the exact same thing!
Crark Kent
Well, because it's not a friend, but actually a daughter of Adaline. As much as I could understand from the movie)
@@anastasiazhuravleva808it was a friend. Her daughter is way older. She was on the phone with her daughter. And would meet her next day
The most elegant Lady in Hollywood and in a wonderful couple !
I love to hold eye contact with someone and then when they get all excited...leave.
Devil
💀💀
I love how they show the emotion in the first glance. That look, i remember watching my wife when i fell in love with her
Always wanted to see this movie!
Awesome.. I love this movie👏👏👏👍👍👍😊
This movie made me bawling like a baby
Anybody felt like a third wheel when they were looking at each other? lol I had to look away.
Hahahah
Blake is so beautiful ❤
Love this movie :)
This is a great movie 😊
He's so creepy though, it's only "cute and charming" because he's attractive (i personally find it creepy either way)
There's this rule I heard of... If you want to check if a man's behaviour is creepy or charming, imagine it done by Danny De Vito.
(Creepy it is...)
I’m so glad you said so because I was thinking it the whole way. She had some very clear and graceful dismissals there and he just completely ignored them. Forget finding it creepy on Danny de Vito, I was just creeped out by him doing that.
True, he appears desperate and creepy. Anyone doing this in real life should know better
Typical modern female doesn't get it. Enjoy your cats (or your wimpy "men.")
yall call everything creepy now a days this movie is old .....and most of all its a movie a scripted movie its not real
Imagine knowing that you were going to out live every one else around you, and never dying too! 💔 Having to keep starting over when everyone else you've ever loved, is gone! 😪💔
I love this film.
One of the best ...
a movie made for just her. like Keanu in John w, movies
Great movie!
Anyone else realize his persistence would piss us off if he was played by an “ugly” actor, but because he’s charming we over look his boundary crossing?
It didn't strike me so years ago when I watched the movie, but now I completely agree with you - it irritated me even though he is charming. Like a giant red flag that should not be ignored.
This is the nature of the beast. Oh well...
Spot the weak feminists. Enjoy your cat company,
What boundary crossing? Did he invade her elevator space? Did she not "cross a boundary" fishing for info about his "date" (if you are picking nits)? Did she not lock eyes WITH him? He was polite, did not touch her, just followed up - then backed off. People who are not classically attractive are often charming.
You could say the same thing if she was not attractive, Ellis or other men would not even take her to consideration. Stop lol
It really was a good movie!
Fabulous movie!
❤😇🥰 очень трогательное и душевное кино🥰
finnnnne ill watch it for the 3rd time. lol
She is gorgeous but such limp acting! The way she delivered those lines in the elevator...this could have been a very witty interaction.
Feel sorry for you Mr. Dario Naharis.
It’s not creepy behavior if it’s “wanted”, they clearly have chemistry and he never touched her or crossed a boundary. I have got to watch this movie again
It must have been very difficult to live that long and going through many eligible gentlemen
Oh hey it's Daario.
I loved this movie. But I thought she had more chemistry with his dad when he was young. 🥴😐 Future family get-togethers will be slightly awkward, lol.
That´s Smallville´s Daily Planet elevator!
👍🏼, Today date is 29 December 2023. It's winter season now days.
Love this movie despite a few nitpicking issues. Elevator ride was not long enough for 27 floors; line should have been 'young Bing Crosby impersonator'; when in LA she has a permit rather than a license (historically correct??) and her name is listed as Bowman vs Prescott... Still loved it.
Like father like son.
Gossip girl - boo!
shes so chic
She is utterly gorgeous. Ryan is a lucky man.
I love this movie so much! Blake Lively is just so good and I love her boyfriend; seen him in other things and he's always good too. (from Sandi)
This is the scene and the movie in which i noticed her for the first tome and fell in love with women instantly. and also found out that she is the wife of Mr. Deadpool...!
"THE WRONG PARENT DIED!!!"
Oops, different show.
This is what it feels like to be lonely and older than your age.
I liked this movie when it was on Netflix. All good movies get cancelled on Netflix.
She’s o elegant
Is she at the Overlook Hotel ?
Blake lively 😍 ♥️ is so beautiful and classy 😍 ❤️
Elis was hot and handsome. Love him in this film.
If she did that, I'd run after the cab.
There's no way the guy would have chased her down if she's not hot. If it was an overweight woman, he'll pass on her.
Yeah ...home truth
It's good & feels good to do our best, to take care of ourselves in sickness & health - to be best version of ourselves
Yes!!
Duh. Pretty/handsome privilege.
@@selrox879 no se, I'd think more like confidence privilege. ✨
2024❤🎉
Loved Blake's acting, loved the movie, but not so much the guy who played Ellis Jones. A bit of mismatch in my personal opinion.
Oof. Friendzoned
She doesn't offer him friendship though.
I feel bad for the dad he didn't get to have her. And his new older wife ? He wasn't really into her......I can totally see it....she was boring.
I honestly think he was creepy in this scene
He tried because he thought it was worth it. Bad luck for him.
I think he was creepy a lot of times, like she said no and he basically started Stalking her
Assertive guys going for the girl: creeps
Submissive guys standing in the corner: mommy's boys
Modern women: I don't know what the hell I want from a guy but they have to read my mind 😀😁😂😂
@@susivarga7303 And if a man offers to hold the door open for a woman, he receives the hairy eyeball of "I can open the door by myself," both verbally and with a demeaning glare. So much for gallantry in 2023.
@@jkrasney1 feminists....
I liked this movie halfheartedly coz the fact that she hooked up with her ex's son is just gross. Too bad that the writer has had to end the beautiful story in such a distasteful way.
Now a days if this scene happens in real life and the women have evil intentions she can easily paint this behavior online as rapey or weirdo. Women desire confident men who is willing to take the effort to chase them but can easily paint them as stalkers also. So men right now are in a lose lose situation and we are actually losing the mystery and risky delicious part of flirting. Next we will sign contracts before we kiss and touch each other.
Totally agree.
Did you notice all the stupid Gen Z and Millennial women in the comments section here saying he was "creepy"? They are clueless about how a real masculine alpha male acts. But at the same time say they want a traditional male. None of them will ever get married and they'll never figure out that THEY themselves were the problem the whole time.
@@theeclectic2919I cam always tell the generation or mindset based on their mindless pontificating on men and women and human interaction. Smfh
Ahhhh yes. The San Francisco I remember. A classy town filled with style, class and art. Now the radical lefties, the woke politicians, the drug dealers, the homeless, etc have pretty much ruined this once magical city.
Its Vancouver. And a movie..
Loved the concept of this film, very poorly executed - acting was fine but man that script and story sucked
Blake lively is one of the fallen angels/ demons that got kick out from heaven for their rebellion. A lot of them are in this generation ( celebrities, politicians, scientists) Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon🙏🏼❤️🕊REPENT, believe in the Gospel, Be Born Again
If you insert the word: -ren between the words ad and line
You get adrenaline.....and if you go down that rabbit hole it's very dark and evil that would provide better better context about this movie.
Hollyweird always finds a way to hide in plain sight their perversion
What does copper and sulphate do then ?
Incredibly shallow movie with only a few standalone scenes. They are great for short youtube videos, but don't waste your time on the movie.
Great movie!
