Man James, my GF and I used to watch you almost every day now my feed just happened to suggest you again. You look like you're doing well. I'll bet Jasper is getting big now. Hopefully one day you'll be stepping up your daily vlogs more like you used to.
Yep Jasper is growing at an alarming rate, he's almost 11 now! Oh how time flies.
Nothing wrong with singing Elon's praises in my mind. He's done -- and is still doing -- a lot of good, and working bloody hard at it. The fact that he also takes time out of his day to post what he feels like is frankly up to him. Good on him for keeping it real, I say! Too many of us have to hide behind our daily jobs and the limitations that puts on our ability to have interesting and frank conversations or share our (however wrong) observations about things.
So strange, I didn't get the warning, but I didn't drive my car for 3 days and it was bricked in my garage. my 12v battery in my Model Y lasted nearly 3 years (a rarity in Arizona) Tesla came out within an hour and replaced the battery for free. so very happy and that's been my only service call since I bought the car. Before this I had a 2014 model S p85, and like you planned on keeping it, but during the pandemic and the price of used cars skyrocketing, I got a good price for the old S. I do miss it sometimes, I think it is better looking
Currently Orkney has too much renewable electricity because they generate more than can be used but up until now are not allowed to export to the mainland grid because the cable link is too weak. This is being addressed and hopefully soon they can then generate more. This includes those with their own solar and wind microgeneration at home. They will then be able to export and gain the profits
Hiya James, Where have you been? you suddenly popped up n my suggestions again today after what seems years. Anyway I had a new 12volt battery fitted to my 4 year old Model 3 in February by Tesla after I also got the dreaded message. Still all good now. Hope to have more off your vlogs in the future again.
Hi, I've been around, but not vlogging like a used to for some time (years). Anyway, hoping to put out more content in the coming months, so hopefully I'll see you in the comment section again. Cheers
I got the Lithium Ion Ommmu battery, should last a long time.
it is a piece of crap and dangerous
£250 for the new door handle and that included fitting by Tesla.
Well if I do end up needing a new door handle, that would be a great improvement on £500. Do you mind if I ask which model of Tesla you have?
@@JamesCookeVlogs Its a 2016 MS
Did you get the new Li 12v battery? They moved away from Lead Acid a few years ago.
Only on new cars have they gone to the 16V LiPo battery. Tesla don't offer a retrofit for lead acid batteries.
No, it was a sealed lead acid battery. Not sure why I didn't get a lithium ion one, but they sound more expensive. Perhaps it is because I have such an old Tesla?
No lead acid battery. Perhaps it is because I have a "classic" tesla?
Why are you.not using Cleeveley EV to cary out the repairs?
No reason really. If or when my door handle needs attention, I'll probably see if that is something Cleeverley can do.
i don't like tesla (because they screwed the pooch on their interior design) and i couldn't care less about spacex, but starlink might be an option for me if my numbers ever come up (which so far they've stubbornly refused to do).
