What likely happened was the filter is so clogged that when he was at full throttle, the engine wasn't getting enough air, and the decreased amount of air was throwing the TPS, throttle body sensors, MAF sensors off. It thought it should be getting much more air than it was.
For people in every country expect for USA, Liberia and Myanmar (the only 3 country’s in the world that still use the imperial system) 155 mph is 250 kmph.

I took a 430 HP Evo X on the road out to the salt flats at 175 gps tracked. I would have guessed you would have touched at least 170 or 180 or something. Those r8s are heavy. And granted you weren’t on the road either! But that’s still a damn good run!

Great video! I own a 91 Mistubishi 3000gt VR-4 myself. It amazes me how similar it is to the R8 despite the few decade age gap! I believe its top speed from the factory is 186mph. Also I have active aero both in the rear and the front and AWD. However I do not think the R8 has all wheel steering like the Mitsubishi haha. I think for people in the US going over 100mph feels crazy while for some Europeans, its daily driving (Well maybe not 150 mph but in the 120+ range). I was doing 100mph+ on an expressway in Belgium and people on the left lane were honking at me because I was driving too slow. But to be fair the surface did not look flat.
That code reader on German cars usually only gives general generic codes and that one is pointing at the intake manifold. Get the air filters swapped or cleaned right away!! Not to be telling you what to do sorry, just some advice is all! If you have a code like that in the future u can just Google it also and it will point u in the right direction! :)

It is sooo funny to see that Speed-Test as a German - I drive 155mph on the highway with my Skoda RS245 easily and 125mph is a relaxed speed for a weekend journey.
Might be wrong but that kinda looks like Sevier Lake which would make sense because its about 2 hours from Utah lake and would take you through Goshen depending on which way you went. Its not Bonneville since thats much bigger but who knows. Theres so many dry lake beds here in Utah.
