  • Ingredients and method to make kilimeen curry:
    On to a clay pot, add
    Coconut oil - 2 Tbsp
    Mustard seeds - 1 Tsp
    Shallots - 2 Tbsp sliced or chopped
    Ginger - 1 Tbsp chopped
    Garlic cloves- 15
    Green chillies-2
    Curry leaves - 2
    Sauté till they change the colour.
    Add
    Chilly powder- 1.5 Tbsp
    Coriander powder - 1 Tbsp
    Turmeric powder- 1/4Tbsp
    Fenugreek powder - 1/4 Tsp
    Water - as required (nearly 1 cup)
    Salt to taste
    Kudampuli / malabar tamarind - 2to3 pieces soaked in water
    Fish - 600 gms approx used here
    Let the fish cook.
    Once the curry boils, add
    Coconut and shallot paste
    Curry leaves
    Finally add some coconut oil.
    Fish curry is ready.
