They only acknowledged my request to be reinstated. Perhaps it would help you understand the particular circumstances I was dealing with if you knew all the details of the whole disfellowship saga in my case. My disfellowshipping was, in the opinion of one of the elders on the judicial committee ( in his words), a ‘mistake. My decision to never come back had a lot to do with my disfellowshipping in the first place. In fact, I went to a neighboring Congregation, one I used to belong to, to seek reinstatement. And no, I don’t live in a big city where maybe congregations might kinda be strangers to each other. Like many, I suppose I could write a book. One more thing…. how exactly does one lie to God? Each other, sure, but the all knowing, all wise, almighty God?
"My daughter has chosen to personally disfellowship me again." JW's self-righteousness is a strong, addictive, and sinful aphrodisiac. No matter what hidden sins they commit, at least they go to meetings! LOL!
That was brilliant, and all totally true what you said. Witnesses cant squirm out of this one, as its so clear now how the org says one thing to the media and another thing totally to the members. It reminded me when my JW son was having an engagement party and one witness who used to be a close family friend, refused to talk to me, even though I had simply faded. She looked so stupid to all the non witnesses who were there as she ran away from me. 🤣
I was a JW in the mid eighties , liked the idea of staying here on earth after death and working with nature , I had no desire to go to 'heaven , a place I did not know , I got baptized but soon enough I did not like their sticking their noses into my private life and left , them shunning me had no effect whatsoever .

The Jehovah's Witnesses are a great big bunch of outright LIERS . I walked away not being Disfellowshiped because I didn't do anything wrong my Conscience would not let me keep lieing to myself. Since walking away no one has spoken to me Even my own sister and when I see them at there carts they just ignore me, now if that's not Shunning what is.😢
I heard a public talk recently that had me very confused. The brother said in his talk something along the lines of how we shouldn’t be judging people on personal matters such as decisions about heath care, personal life choices that should be personal decisions, and shouldn’t be shunning people. I was thinking, but that’s exactly what the organization does. My oldest child even asked me about it later and questioned don’t they do that when it comes to holidays telling people not to celebrate. I told him it was a good question and I’m glad that he’s paying attention and thinking about things like that. What confused me was I was wondering was the brother giving the talk a PIMO lol? It was almost like he was trying to send a subliminal message. Not sure or if he was actually acting oblivious to the witnesses doing all the things he named.
There was a benefit of being a former JW. That of seeing the contrast of darkness and light. I feel blessed to be aware of the wisdom of knowing I'm no longer in darkness. No longer bound in chains. Wisdom and being a kind human being are two necessary ingredients for Inner Peace. It doesn't get much better. Shunning is judging. It's a power play that JWs are taught. It gives the average jw a feeling of being in control. All the while they are in slavery until they have courage to break free after seeing a flicker of light and may even have to lose family and friends over their choice to live in peace though it does take patience and willingness to love yourself enough to get there.
David Gnam in Canada said the same thing, lol. The fact that this sister wasn't commenting when you mention "No doing research" is one of the reason why members look incredibly ignorant.
Just saw your video and I want to say I was ones a JW, am from Nigeria and I have left that organization for almost 12 years now and am so happy because after I put my last special pioneer form I begin to see that am not in the right path and this is so wrong to be putting the holy Spirit down and the same time seeing them seeking help from demons 🤨 so I left when I got tired. Just last month my new neighbors and my new landlord even the school I enrolled my kids in just got to know that I was ones a JW and they think that they can bring me back by using mind control on me( that leaving the organization means I have rejected Jehovah) but I made them understand that I came into the organization on my own, nobody talked me in but some how I came out so no one will play me back. So what do they do? They started avoiding me and they even have to look for ways to send my kids out of them school with out making my kids to write their promotion exams. I just pity them but for me I am still Love by God Almighty YHWH AND HIS HOLY SON YESHUA 😊 Romans 10:10 says "if I believe with my heart is righteousness and if I confess with my mouth is salvation". so who are they and all them governing bodies to say what is not in the holy scriptures? Am glad I left whole heartedly 😊
ridiculous on one hand if you're looking from a distance, but it's amazing how they isolate people, take their money, lots of it, and if they want out gang up on them and would rather have them die in the street...
Thanks for the video . When I have a usually very short conversation with witnesses, I try to leave them with the thought that they are just like the Israelites before their city Jerusalem, the Lords chosen peoples city was twice destroyed . The average people refused to research and stand up to those false priests and just went along with what they were told to do by those self appointed clergy, who demanded obedience. You can lead a horse to water , but you can't make them drink . Plus these same modern day self appointed clergy have found the evil 4 letter word to call anyone who doesn't follow their instructions....APOSTATES
Brilliant.. 4:06 I've learnt never to believe a word they say ..they will lie through their teeth...do you remember Geoffrey Jackson at the Australian Royal Commission 2008 when he said to Mr Angus Stuart , "That I think would seem to be quite presumptuous that to say that we are the only spokesperson that God is using"
Same with but I don't care. I even want them to keep running into walls anytime they see me and my kids. I have gone far in the so-called organization by being a special pioneer but I don't just care. Just walked in on them with head high and let them keep looking down anytime you see them okay.
What gets me is that the active of JW asked you about your situation. Obviously you were in the gossip circle and your name popped up. Yea awkward exclamation point but at least I'm glad you were able to handle it well and make it known to people. ❤❤❤
My family and I were shunned by the Seventh Day Adventist many times. When my husband took ill, we were shunned because we were told that we are going through this difficult time because we had unforgiven sins we need to pray about. We had financial difficulties, shunned again. My husband died of cancer, I was shunned. I could write a book of the difficult time in that church with its stiff laws but now I am glad to be shunned by that silly group. Good riddance.

Does that take away their freedom of speech? When my mom was in it, out of it backwards and sideways. She spoke to anyone who spoke Spanish, regardless of what religion they were practicing. Nobody said anything to her about it back in the 60's 70's and early 80's.
After doing all this research about the JWs, I don't know what to think. I grew up more or less on their teachings , went to some Bible studies and district conventions, and occasionally went to the kingdom hall especially to their memorial services. I do find their influence hard to shake off because in some areas they did have a lot of good points like blood transfusions can be dangerous because the blood could be contaminated, or why would a just loving God create a place like hell? I still have trouble accepting an actual hell exists, nor would I want blood transfused into me. But I also ended up feeling the Jehovah's witnesses were the one true religion because of how separate they try to be from the world like not taking political office or live a moral life. But they aren't perfect people. Sure people who do wrong in their congregation need to be punished but how far should the actual disfellowship if necessary should go? How exactly should people be shunned? And that promise of everlasting life on earth, that was the one thing that really appealed to me. Much as I want that, does the Bible actually mean it in a literal sense, or are those promises merely symbolism, as is a bunch of the bible especially symbolism? Should the lake of fire and sulfur be taken literally, or is that symbolism? I still believe in a god that exists. I hear Christianity is a relationship not a religion, but these days I'm getting more and more turned off by religion especially the JWs. I don't know what to think and believe anymore, plus the JW beliefs and stories I grew up on are hard to shake off and get over. Their religion, a long with many others , say they are the right one but the actions of many churches speak louder than their words. In the civil war both north and south thought God was on their side, but was he really? I don't know if church every Sunday and being "religious" is truly for me. There were churches I enjoyed going to but things happened and I don't go to them anymore.
I understand the struggle with fully waking up; it took me about 8 years after I left to fully break free (mentally and emotionally). I will say that their narrative is so full of lies. Firstly - they are NOT the only "religion", aka - cult, that does not engage in politics. Secondly - Viruses attached to blood transfusions were exaggerated back in the 80's and are non-existent now. Even so, I'd rather risk my child getting a treatable virus, rather than dying. With that said, let me add - this is NOT a "harmless group". Shunning leads to self harm and suicide. Refusing a child a blood transfusion leads to actual death. Additionally, their multiple end-of-days prophecies have been wrong. And they continue to protect pedophiles. The Australia Royal Commission and what is currently happening in Pennsylvania shows this. They're just another cult, after money and control
@@gabbie921 if you know of any good coping mechanisms to apply when processing let me know.
LOL!
Pat was turning green! Thanks JoHanna, that was funny!!
Good work 👍
Happy memorial day, from the UK
Oh that was freakin AWESOME! Handled it so smoothly 😃🫶
Above comment very stupid and sad comment
They want to have their disfellowshipping cake and eat their “we don’t shun” too
You win the comments section. 😂😂
Good work, JoHannah!
Oh my goodness. That is just too hilarious.
You're my hero for at least the next week.
Great comment when you said it's ok to speak to you because JWs told the media last week that they don't shun. 😆
Thank you for the truth and whole truth!
I was a JW in the mid eighties , liked the idea of staying here on earth after death and working with nature , I had no desire to go to 'heaven , a place I did not know , I got baptized but soon enough I did not like their sticking their noses into my private life and left , them shunning me had no effect whatsoever .
Above comment.my you must have not relented from your sin
@@MargaretRobinson-fj2eg Sin is a concept created by religion who then claims to have the only cure. I regret my shortcomings and have made peace with those I offended and do my best not to repeat them.

I like how this was just a silly and weird moment for you but probably genuinely terrifying for her 😂
Wow! you did great! You were honest and kind but she was not. They flat out lie about their inhumane shunning policy!
Above comment.is don't lie about this YOu do
Lmao Girllllllllll, you broke her brain! I wonder if i should ask the next time I'm at the airport and see a cart.
Many carts are pulled by an ass.
Not all heroes wear capes! ❤❤❤❤
We only say we don't shun when were in court.
They claim to be Gods one and only true religion. Yet they set in stone many ungodly rules and habits like shunning, loveless marriages, heavy use of alcohol and their obsession with staying separate of non jw people. The separation rules are however constantly broken as they still claim every government benefit they can.
It's really a very sad, dark, cold , horrible and loveless way to live.
Give them a break! Under all that pressure they need a drink!
That was GREAT 🎉🎉🎉 THANK YOU!!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
She still heard you and WILL think about what you said. Good for you. Make her think. Think is hard for those told not to.
I love how you handled her ! 😅
I suspect the elder who was quoted was engaging in some verbal legerdemain. "*We* don't engage in shunning; it's the laity which does that."
If she thought you were disfellowshipped, then why did she approach you?...How dumb
It's so sad to see how brainwashed they are😢 big hugs from Quebec!
Along with so many other "religions."
Wow!!!! What a great question to her. That would be amazing if you played the video of the testimony of the GB member. They wanna show us a video well, well.
I remember sitting in that convention when they said you don’t talk or associate with such ones. I was like this is a lesson we need to learn!!!! So glad I dont associate with these people.
You go girl. Religion is hateful in my experience. I grew up among Mormons where non-Mormons (like me) are not considered human.
Mine too. My biggest life regrets were decisions based on Mormon teachings.
My jaw dropped knowing JW and Mormon has similarities! Both even says we are the only truth。。。
Count your blessings try being an inactive in a small town....You think JW are pushy preaching Mormons are worse when they want "returning members" back.
@Malice Leaf oh, I know it. I lived my whole life in a Mormon community. I received Books of Mormon regularly and also lived with the shunning.
Goofy white people apocalyptic religions
What a robot, I’ve never shunned a Witness and several where shocked I would treat them respectfully. When one got DFed, I would never tell anyone and still call them brother or sister. Good for you to offer her help because she really needs it. Peace
Hilarious! I love it! Thank you for the laugh!
It's a shame she asked that. Instead of having normal adult conversation and just saying it's good to see you her programming kicked in
Great job! Great video you’re awesome!
This video has me dieing 😂😂😂😂😂☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️. Good stuff. I also wanted to mention that this is just 1 of many examples how wittmess will say something and then be different I’m real life. When they announced that we could have beards they said “ there is a clarification “ and then they proceeded to talk about beards and how nothing is wrong with it. 😂😂😂☠️☠️☠️
Stop apologizing about no makeup. YOU LOOK JUST FINE!!!
Ha! I don't really care, I'm just from the Midwest where ope & sorry are our goodbye and hello 😅
They are all lying to themselves ......its disgusting
Above comment. Yes you lie to yourself
Wow this is great! Anyone have links to the articles where WT replied they don’t shun?

David Gnam in Canada said the same thing, lol. The fact that this sister wasn't commenting when you mention "No doing research" is one of the reason why members look incredibly ignorant.
How can something be so funny and so sad at the same time 😂😢❤
What I like to ask JWs is "what happened to the generation of 1914 that was supposed to see the end when I was a witness
The perfect way to go! Thanks for sharing !
Above comment. You know Christendom thinks Jesus isGod
I hope to see the Demise of this man made WT organization go down in my lifetime….👍🏼😊👍🏼
“Are you still a JW?”
“Yes.”
“I’m so sorry. I’m here if you want to talk.”
💀💀💀
Mormons don't shun. They never leave you alone!
Girl!! This is awesome!
“I can’t talk to you!”
Panic!
Panic!
Panic!

It’s so ridiculous 🙄
ridiculous on one hand if you're looking from a distance, but it's amazing how they isolate people, take their money, lots of it, and if they want out gang up on them and would rather have them die in the street...
Thanks for the heads up.
Well done, that's hilarious!! 😅
Brilliant.. 4:06
I've learnt never to believe a word they say ..they will lie through their teeth...do you remember Geoffrey Jackson
at the Australian Royal Commission 2008 when he said to Mr Angus Stuart ,
"That I think would seem to be
quite presumptuous that to say that we are the only spokesperson that God is using"
You brilliant ❤thanks ❤❤❤❤
O..yes..As a biblestudent I never got baptised. (This 'new personality' felt like a straight jacket).
But my JW neighbours are avoiding me now...
Same with but I don't care. I even want them to keep running into walls anytime they see me and my kids. I have gone far in the so-called organization by being a special pioneer but I don't just care. Just walked in on them with head high and let them keep looking down anytime you see them okay.
BRILLIANT!! you rock.
I am just so crazy proud of you.
You did it exactly right !
What gets me is that the active of JW asked you about your situation. Obviously you were in the gossip circle and your name popped up. Coincidentally the opportunity arises for her to verify with you and then for her to run and shun. Yeah that happens. Yea awkward exclamation point but at least I'm glad you were able to handle it well and make it known to people. ❤❤❤
I was totally gossiped about. And I still am now that I'm an apostate.
Great job, Sister! Only thing to say is "F WitchTower!"
So proud of a smart girl like u ,who has it going on
good job 👏
Great Job keep Exposing Watchtower LIES Abuse and Hypocrisy
My family and I were shunned by the Seventh Day Adventist many times. When my husband took ill, we were shunned because we were told that we are going through this difficult time because we had unforgiven sins we need to pray about. We had financial difficulties, shunned again. My husband died of cancer, I was shunned. I could write a book of the difficult time in that church with its stiff laws but now I am glad to be shunned by that silly group. Good riddance.
Wait let me get this correct.. your husband died and you were shunned??? Wow!! Just when you needed support they thought it was better to shun you..SMDH!!! I’m sorry for your loss and I’m happy you’re free of that blood sucking, kill joy cult..
Sorry to hear what must have been difficult times for you and your family . But remember that God is our judge not man . Hope things are better now . Remember some of those in the Bible that lost everything like Lot and Job , but God blessed them later . May God Bless You and your Family .
What!? I’m shocked. I really think it must depend on the community. I grew up SDA and ppl would give their shirts of their backs for anyone - sell you a car for a $1 if you needed one. Seriously the nicest ppl. I don’t identify as Adventist now, just spiritual and Christian but I have a lot of love for SDAs. I’m sorry you have that experience
my nephew married one of those, gives them tons of money... now they're having a divorce and the parents came along... the request to him is that they'd like him to keep giving the same amount of money as before, and also give half of what's left to the wife, they have 4 children, one of them is with him, the other three totally brainwashed... my nephew wanted to off himself, luckily he still has one child to keep him going... amazing how they basically set top notch lawyers on the case that they pay with the money he's been handing them over...
@@spec5050 funny, Lot is the one that had children with his daughters and Job lost his children but they were replaced... gives you an idea of the mindset of that book the Bible, wives and children are considered livestock.
That is so good. They are despicable.
Hilarious!!! Love it. Caught her in an actual lie.
This is great, love it, JW's lie noooo way 😂
hahahaha!!!!!
I. Love. This!!!!!!😂
Great Job JoAnna
Does that take away their freedom of speech? When my mom was in it, out of it backwards and sideways. She spoke to anyone who spoke Spanish, regardless of what religion they were practicing. Nobody said anything to her about it back in the 60's 70's and early 80's.
what great timing! Must have been Jehovah’s hand ✋🤪
Above comment . Yes indeed good timing for the wittness. Girl made video because conscience pricked
You SCARED HER! NO you didn't scare her she was already afraid already.😅
I can empathise with a lot of your feelings. I am currently processing a lot of similar feelings myself.
@@gabbie921 if you know of any good coping mechanisms to apply when processing let me know. Recently I been talking to Mormons and they had been contacting me but last I talked to them I asked them whether or not there is anything to substanciate the book of Mormon because there hasn't been anything archaeologists found to prove that book is true. On the other hand archaeologists found a lot of stuff proving certain events existed. Other times I study tengrism, the religion of ancient Turks and Mongolians before Islam. So yeah I still study some on religion, but I am not necessarily all religious holier than thou type of stuff.
@@aisforapostate2740 thanks for the heads up. I can definitely sense the amount of control they want, and I read stories of them protecting pedophiles. They certainly did an amount of influence on me. I do tend to feel "much damage had been done" in regards to me. For example, like I said I have trouble accepting anything from other religions like baptist as truthful. When it comes to church all I can say about a lot of them is too many hypocrites. Hell, I certainly am not perfect. When me and the Mormons were talking about their laws like the law of Chasity, I found a number of laws I am guilty of breaking. I don't know what to think of the Mormons mainly because archaeologists have not found anything to prove that religion is true.
@@JSharpe427 it's interesting that you have chatted with mormons as I did that myself. For me personally, I don't believe that the book of mormon is an inspired text, but I found myself intrigued by the similarities between jw's and mormon's. In terms of coping mechanisms, what has personally helped me is my belief that the Bible is inspired of God and God has also blessed each of us with free will to choose what we will believe and how we will live our lives. I keep studying, keep investigating faiths and keep being gentle with myself on this journey. I journal, exercise, go to therapy, work and spend time with my family. I wish you well on your journey :)
Those goddam hypocrites. My sister is a 61 year old, life-long JW cult member. Whatever they say, she does. No hope for her.

Also they’re no longer considered a religion in Norway & lost all their funding due mostly, to their shunning policy. Tons of stuff out there on that.

I didn’t believe they actually gave up shunning.
