Sorry but he's right. I've see them in concert, too, and the only vocal that's live is Mr. Lordi. Go back and watch the Eurovision performances. You can clearly hear the background vocals are live there. There's a clear difference in background vocal sound.
I kind of wondered that. I think Bon Jovi does the same thing on Livin' on a Prayer, especially for the key change. Too bad that Lordi's doing it though. Sounded fantastic with real vocals on the Eurovision performances.
Wesley Stafford In Eurovision you can’t use prerecorded backing vocals, so they had Pasi from Thunderstone do them, but for concert performances they use the backing vocals from the record.
I hope that Lordi follows GWAR's example though and does not borrow money from the label or anyone else to put on their stage shows because they will get into debt over and over again and be chained to cruel masters that don't give a crap when your albums aren't selling. They just want their money back.

The background vocals are made by Hella's keyboards. Most power metal bands do that these days aswell.
