Hello, I have a question, I am rigging a robotic arm but when I move the end control the entire arm becomes stretched, how do I disable the stretch option? thank you!
It isn’t possible to disable the stretch since the whole system isn’t IK. It works with start and end points and then draws between rather than place points based on rotational data. This is why the controllers change color when stretched, but it’s up the animator to manage arcs and stretch.
thank you for your prompt response, it's a shame that I can't use rubberhose to rig a mechanical arm, it's something very simple but it stretches the elements and it doesn't look good. Can you recommend any other script that allows me to do that? thank you so much! Kind regards Carlos
The claw itself is unrelated to RH3 and is just one side rotating, with the other side pickwhipping that rotating side and a - sign before it to invert the rotation

@@iupi_llc Jake did a great rundown of the 2 other really great systems: ruclips.net/video/WkiZNpsxVDw/видео.html
How was the claw effect built?
