*To be honest, Frank Sinatra has always been a genius in his music. He captures the lives of others well while singing. That's why "That's Life" was perfect on "Joker." @@PeytonianYT Some mentally ill people do that. That was my point. The more we treat mental illness as a "lifestyle" the more we can ignore it and then the bad things happen. The character was mentally ill, had a good heart but then turned bad because of his illness, and we need to try to help them better. That was the seed of my comment.
Seeing the film chopped up and edited this way really makes a lot of the structure pop out more. I had no idea how much connectivity between the dialogue and the music and the images there were until they're played more adjacent to each other. Really fine work, this was super cool.

I′ve been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet

I thought of quitting, baby
But my heart just ain′t gonna buy it
And if I didn′t think it was worth one single try
I'd jump right on a big bird and then I′d fly
I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet
A pawn and a king
I′ve been up and down and over and out
And I know one thing
Each time I find myself layin'
Flat on my face
I just pick myself up and get
Back in the race
That′s life
(That's life)
That's life and I can′t deny it
Many times I thought of cutting out but my heart won′t buy it
But if there's nothing shaking come this here July
I′m gonna roll myself up
In a big ball and die
My, my
i havent had chills like this in a long time
This is ART!
Thank you!!
Thank you for this artwork :)

Yeh good job bro that was awesome
This movie is such a message to help those with mental problems, it was inspiring insofar as we need to help.
I mean he killed like 6 people
@@PeytonianYT Some mentally ill people do that. That was my point. The more we treat mental illness as a "lifestyle" the more we can ignore it and then the bad things happen. The character was mentally ill, had a good heart but then turned bad because of his illness, and we need to try to help them better. That was the seed of my comment.
I literally rewatch this throughout my day to keep on going😅 the editing is phenomenal, my vibes have been checked, and that’s life.
Awesome edit, how the song is literally Arthur's story, that for me is the last joke, such a great joke!
Damn, that was a really good edit of a memorable movie.
I love the MATCH CUTS this edit is so good
Seeing the film chopped up and edited this way really makes a lot of the structure pop out more. I had no idea how much connectivity between the dialogue and the music and the images there were until they're played more adjacent to each other. Really fine work, this was super cool.
Dang most movies choose classic songs just cuz “oh it’s in there to be more cool and make it more fun” but this movie picks songs that actually fit in with the theme
