Those are wild Sailfin Mollys. The males have the larger dorsal fin and the femails are larger but less colorful. They are live bearers. Popular in the Aquarium trade. They like brackish, slightly salty water. The first one you hooked up as bait was a gravid female.
I normally don't leave my dogs alone either when the fireworks are REALLY going, but last night my nieces and nephews conned me into going outside for 10 minutes with them. When I came in, I realized my dog sh!t in my bathtub. Weirdest thing ever lol, guess she was looking for a hiding spot...so fair play, next time I wont leave her alone 😂🤣

Man we went out to Wagon train lake outside of Lincoln Nebraska and caught some nice fish everyone blew up the fire works and it was great nice show

The minnows were green Molly's. The 1st one was a pregnant female. The more colorful one was the male.
