Treat other people as you would like to be treated. And that's what I do. I'm not one of those people that walk around and say I don't see color, bc I'm not color blind. But what I do not see is the color of your skin or culture being the basis of how I treat you. Racism in any form from any race is not a joke. It is just terrible, I wish with every fiber of my being that we could truly learn to just see each other as one race, that would be the human race, and facilitate goodwill towards each other.

When I worked in China, I saw it firsthand-some of my co-workers made racial slurs about one of my black colleagues. Hey, so I'm not Chinese but I am Asian (my parents are from India). Growing up I, like many other people from that area was constantly made fun of like this. You are doing god's work. This video made me realize that the stereotypes for Chinese/Japanese/Korean people are as bad as the Indian ones I was subject to when I was younger. Maybe even worse since three different countries are bundled into one narrow minded view of a group of people. A lot of stereotypes are influenced based on what we consume through media. I'm going to be a filmmaker when I grow up, and I have kinda made it my mission to reduce stereotypes like these and the ones I struggled with by casting genuine actors from real cultures and telling their stories like any other characters. I'm not going to exploit their culture, or use it for my own gain, or bend the facts. I'm going to show cultures in the light they deserve!! And not just that... so like if a character is Chinese right. They don't have to be Chinese. It could literally just be because. Them being Chinese could just be a random thing we decided to add for no real reason, it doesn't impact the plot, it's just a trait. Shows that people and personalities come in all races of all kinds. I'm totally yapping but yeah. Thank you for this, this video made my week. Subscribing.

Hey, so I'm not Chinese but I am Asian (my parents are from India). Growing up I, like many other people from that area was constantly made fun of like this. You are doing god's work. This video made me realize that the stereotypes for Chinese/Japanese/Korean people are as bad as the Indian ones I was subject to when I was younger. Maybe even worse since three different countries are bundled into one narrow minded view of a group of people. A lot of stereotypes are influenced based on what we consume through media. I'm going to be a filmmaker when I grow up, and I have kinda made it my mission to reduce stereotypes like these and the ones I struggled with by casting genuine actors from real cultures and telling their stories like any other characters. I'm not going to exploit their culture, or use it for my own gain, or bend the facts. I'm going to show cultures in the light they deserve!! And not just that... so like if a character is Chinese right. They don't have to be Chinese. It could literally just be because. Them being Chinese could just be a random thing we decided to add for no real reason, it doesn't impact the plot, it's just a trait. Shows that people and personalities come in all races of all kinds. I'm totally yapping but yeah. Thank you for this, this video made my week. Subscribing.
