      'Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy' movie.
A captured agent, on a plane: 'I could tell be the stars, we were going...'
I forget if it was east or west. Still found it neat. People are so involved in so man other things. Who knows how to find direction by stars anymore? Some people make it to adulthood not knowing what the moon is, or thinking the moon only shows up when the sun is down... or the worst, think the moon is the same thing as the sun :(
Ancient peoples would watch where the sun and moon rose and set every day, draw the stars every night, etc. etc... knowing two constellations is probably a rare thing now. Finding the north star by just looking, the same...

I remember when Anonymous shutdown the city of Portland Tx after a judge who'd been filmed beating his daughter with a belt , and Anonymous demanded he step down, but refused. My mother's husband came home early from work the next day saying the entire network for the City had been shutdown. I laughed and then cried. It was right after Barrett Brown. And to watch as Portland ignored the video and let the judge continue to work, was validation how dirty our courts were/are. Especially family court. See, this judge was the kind that took children, punished mothers for calling in DV, and was a shthead to his autistic daughter.
    Been following ever since.

@Metallimad06 It was awesome. The judge was a family court judge and was giving full custody of children to the abusers. Watching the anons break into the local news and demand this judge step down or they would shutdown the grid, was awesome. Of course the judge wouldn't and I think it was on a Thursday when my mother's husband came home from work early and said the entire Internet grid was down.
I remember LULZ SEC, Laurie Love, that guy who got raided by the FBI while live streaming with the other hackers, and Aaron Schwartz. Whoever they are.. they gave hope to so many who were, are , have been, beaten down by corrupt courts and government officials, hope. It's incredible how many countries are involved. We needed that hope. I just think about what Brandon Breedloves said in his RUclips before he passed... Do you believe in God or Angels... I do ❤️

And the longer they distracted 9GAG with the obvious stuff (the bigoted posts, illegal content & DDOSing) the more users could be tricked into blindly spamming their own servers... in theory, 9GAG users could unwittingly keep their own servers offline for far longer than even 4chan expected.

There is one group that "Fed the trolls" and got away with it.
    .
    The Gulf Cartel
There was one time when Anonymus declare ware against the Cartel.
This time Anon underestimated the Gulf, who are one of the most brutal Cartels of Mexico back then there shared a similar loose structure to Anon, understands them.
Worst of all, trained by CIA and Israeli Mossad thugs, hence the Brutality.
Unlike HP, rather than going against the "Leaders", the Cartel made it a hobby in farming Hydra heads, literally. They declared a bounty on any suspect anon member`s head, hired or coerced a Internet security company to track the hackers, and they rolled out with their guns and machete, to hunt the Anons IRL.
The Cartel dragged anonymus out of the virtual world into the real life, and there was probably some Anon heads that did rolled...as well as probably some innocents.
In the end, Anon backed out, as they realised the Mexican Cartels was a different beast than some shitty celebs or arrogant corpos.
