We are launching a NEW TRAIL RACE! (Put Sat 13 June 2020 in your diary!)

- I am totally thrilled to announce the launch of our two new trail races for next summer! On Sat 13 June 2020 The Nene Valley 10 & 20 mile trail races will take place, starting at and finishing from Fotheringhay's Castle Farm Campsite near Peterborough in the East Midlands.
I'm organising this with Janine and Anna, two other keen trail runners from our local club the Stamford Striders.
This Saturday I ran the 10 mile route with organiser Janine and wonderful Patreons, Guy, Rob, Alex, John, Abi and Darren. It was SOOOO windy, but we had a great time and most of them have signed up to the race already - awesome news guys!

Looks lovely, but probably a bit far away for me alas. We have similar local trails here in Derwent Valley and Tyne Valley near Newcastle...many leftover from the coal mining days. Just shows you what can be found on your doorstep!
You'll have to change the date now...realised it is only a week before The Lakesman. That's going to be my first Ironman, another one of my crazy ideas!
Looks really cool - I will have to see if I can make it over for the race... Will the 20 be a separate course or will it just be 2 loops of the 10?
Its also really cool to see what some of the other patrons look like after chatting during the weekly liverstreams... Hello to you all from over in the USA!
