Well done review. Very helping in helping me set up my new 970. Easier and better than reading the manual!!. Thanks. (But I do think you should have let the printer print a full page photo and then hold it up for the viewer. It would make for a better and more exiting conclusion.)
Thanks mate. Helped a lot!
Awesome !!! Thanks for the video. It helped me do the setup.
Merci beaucoup!
merci from france
I'm looking for videos where the original epson inks are tested for water resistance, and in this epson, how non-original inks can be used and what the difference is between the two inks.
Thanks for this (and your XP-15000 vid).
How do they compare? They're both on my consideration list for a photo printer for occasional printing (say about 30-50 per year). My 3rd option is the Canon IP8720.
They're all in the same price range here. My main concerns are photo print quality and low maintenance since I won't be printing super often.
Any thoughts based on your experiences with them would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for creating a video on this product!
Mabey you can help me - I'm unable to use cassette 1 (envelope tray) how do I set that up? - I cant find the option to select that tray in any of the print dialog options.
Video 3 years old. You forgot to upload review of this printer or did i miss something?
Do you recommend XP-970 or XP 7100 please? I don't see much difference. thanks
hello, are there 3 paper trays?
excellent video.... I have a question, I have an Epson XP 970 printer I just bought it but I don't know if the configuration is wrong when I print cartridges
It only prints the pink color and I try both vertical and horizontal sides but it doesn't. I don't know how to solve the problem.
It sounds like there could be a clog, or malfunction in the printhead. However, it is very rare when the printer is new. If you just purchased the printer new from Epson, or an authorized seller like Staples or Office Depot, I would recommend contacting Epson as your printer will be under a limited warranty. They may be able to send you a replacement printer if the problem persists. If the printer is not under warranty, then I would recommend doing a printhead cleaning cycle. It can be found under the maintenance menu. Epson has a website where you can check if your printer is under warranty at epson.com/w/warranty. I hope this helps, and have a great rest of your weekend.
Thank you for letting me know, the printer is new, I just bought it, but I don't know if I made the configuration wrong. When I test the cartridges it only prints pink. @@evandrinks
Which printer do you think is better between this 1 and the 15000 ?
The XP-15000 has slightly higher photo quality, and can print on larger paper up to 13 inches wide. If you need a scanner for making copies or scanning, or if you want a touchscreen then go for the XP-970.
i just bough one of these, but its very complicated for my age group and searched the box for the installation cd, As I dont trust internet driver softwares as they put DRM onto my printer i dont want. I want to make my own choices on wha I install. still stuck with a printer and ink not installed, as wnt the installation disc not what Epsom WANT me to have
Try to fin the home side to drivers !!
Looks like a pretty slick unit, but the scanner is junk.
How do you know, do you have one?
@@gibby7233 Did until I returned it.
You mentioned it had dye ink. The ink is pigment
