I love soto but this is just wrong. Just a few years ago, Donaldson, judge, hicks, Gallo, Voit saw a lot of pitches every at bat. Their walk rates were also very good. The problem is that only judge was the only good hitter lol. Also hicks saw like the second most pitches per at bat.

@harmonysinger8077 I don't need to see home runs as your only hope for offense. Too many years of feast or famine on the long ball. A well-rounded offense is more effective. Hope they keep this up.

I was telling my dad after the stros series, I said this team is serious & very dangerous. He said what you mean? I told him I said look at HR totals from Houston... which was a handful at best right? Lol just shows yankees are actually hitting in situational spots. Judge isn't the only one doing anything in the line up. So you can no longer pitch around judge the whole game.

Y’all see the difference in this team vs the last couple of years? They had zero fire in their asses. They had the mentality of “if we win, GREAT. If we don’t, meh oh well.” This team gives a much better vibe of “brothers” playing to win! As in losing is not an option! I remember when the season opener recently when the yanks played at home against the blue jays and EVERY SINGLE YANKEES PLAYER did NOT look like they wanted to be there. It was the saddest looking Yankees team and no motivation whatsoever. But this team, they LOOK like they’re on a mission! The past few years looked like a bunch of guys having a bad day of practice, ready to go home, every game… not these guys
I'm still not sold on the Yankees.... their winning games that their supposed to cause of the bad pitching in this game and the errors in Houston... when Judge and Rizzo get going ill be happy.... their taking of bad pitches is a plus but their still not running on all cylinders. Last time they started this hot was '92, but the '92 team went 71-91 on the season so I'm cautious. Regardless, everything is clicking, and it's a lot of fun to watch the energy in this team right now. The '23 Yanks were carried by Judge - when he got injured, they went in the shitter. The '24 Yanks are clearly not that team. If anything, Judge has started in kind of a slump, and everyone else is carrying. Soto is simply inhuman, at bat and on the field. Verdugo is a monster in left. Cabrera is poised for a breakout season. And every man in the lineup is pumping out base hits. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but this roster has the most potential I've seen in years. Keep it up fellas.

I figure it is early in the season so he’d start hitting better in a few series, but I also didn’t know if there is some stuff going on in the clubhouse that is throwing him off and I just didn’t know about it.

Honestly with how well him Cabrera and Soto are playing, I would say leave them where they’re at because it almost guarantees that a pitcher is going to have to face 1 or 2 of them per inning
Judge and Stanton haven’t even gotten started. I’m counting on healthy amd legit year from Stanton. 40 hr. 110 rbi. One thing I’ll say about Cashman is he knows how to build a bullpen.
