I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day invt decisions being guided by a init-coach, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using a init-coach for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

Sometimes analysis could disguise a stock as a value stock especially when you are considering only the PE ratio and maybe the book value of the stock. I've made some money during these analyses myself, but I still feel like something is missing. I'm starting the year with a 60k portfolio, but I want to tread carefully.
Stock analysis is more than reading quarterly reports. Learnt this from reading Peter Lynch's book. Nonetheless,I believe there are people who do this for a living, and I just delegate the task to these professionals. That's how I make money from the market to be honest.

I couldn't agree more. Trade signals are the backbone of my trading strategy. I've had good experiences using them. I currently have a reliable source, but I'm always open to exploring new options.
Same here, i like to experiment with different options too but Wealthwise Capital has caught my eye lately. Only discovered them a while ago and it didn't take long to hit my first 10K. Who would have thought trade Signals and the right Stock picks were all i needed lol

I think investors who are wary of changing market trends should seek out bear market directions from certified strategists/planners. Safer that way

Take 100 analysts with their predictions for 2024. At the end of the year, pick the one who had made the best guess and say he was a genius. Very much like The Price is Right.

Wrong! There is a 50% chance that nothing will happen.
I hope he's right, but results over the short term (like 1 year) are just so unpredictable. Some years it's going to go way up and Tom Lee will be on the money. Other years it will go way down and Mike Wilson will be on the money.
I believe Tom Lee predicted the S&P to reach 5100 in 2022. It ended a little over 3800. So way off, but then gets it right for 2023.
So even the best and most knowledgeable have trouble predicting over the short term. That's why it's best to just invest for the long term and keep holding and adding.

About 1:17 into the interview, Bob congratulated Tom by saying Tom is "DIRECTIONALLY CORRECT" in forecasting S&P to hit 4750 BYE 2023. When I did my math Tom Lee is .37% accurate on his prediction (S&P at 1:45PM on Friday Dec 29 is 4768). In my books Tom Lee NAILED it!

You can't just look at last January, you have to look at every January. I just think we're do for some profit taking and a dip is coming soon.

I heard someone talking about investing one time they talked about how financial institutions send out mailers 50% say that the markets gonna go good 50% says the markets going to go bad. So for half of the people he told him the right thing. When they bring this up to their clients they tend not to dwell on the 50% they were wrong about and testified that they were right the market did exactly what we said it was going to do. I believe the founder of Vanguard said nobody knows anything own the whole market.

“Soft landing” 😂 The FED doesn’t cut because inflation is cooling… they cut because the economy is in the toilet. We are in the calm before the storm period similar to 2000 and 2007.
That is *often* why they cut, but Powell has specifically commented they will start cutting when the rates are too high above inflation. Whether we get some surprises before that, we'll see
@@ryann8348 They follow the 2 year yield for fed funds rate decisions. It is currently dropping as a result of slowing economic conditions and low future growth expectations, signaling a cutting cycle is coming as a result of a recession.
