I love the top. Will use this idea if I can find the right tiles! I'm considering angled sides like you used. Most of the DIY wooden ones, especially if they run horizontal, looking like packing crates or coffins LOL Thanks for the ideas lad!
Originally we spent about $200, but then my wife changed her mind on the tile and drove it closer to $300. The tile was deffinitly the most expensive part of this project.
@@baileybingham9405 They were “L” shaped. Honestly, they were the hardest part for me to get on there. The top was fine, but when I put them on the sides, gravity was making it very hard.
I didnt do a great job explaining why extending it wouldnt work, but the key wasnt long enough. If I used a flange to extend it, the key wouldnt be long enough to reach the valve.

OUTSTANDING!!! Thank you for this. The affordable tables are too small, the big tables are too expensive. This is perfect.
This is an amazing job. This is what I was looking for to make my own.

Did you use pressure treated wood?
This looks great! How much do you estimate you spent on materials?

Your fire pit pan is 24x12?
It looks great, I would have used wood filler and just sanded that mistake. Been enjoying all of your videos espicaly the deck and stair build.
Thank you, I’m glad you have enjoyed them.
What shape borders are those? T’s or L’s? Struggling to determine how you installed those.

Looks great! What were your final dimensions? Might have to try this 😅
The top came out at 31x48 inches, and the overall height was 25 inches.
What are the dimensions of your table? Would be awesome if you could post the drawing for you plans ☺️
FWIW, I believe there are flange extensions that would work for the "hole in wrong place" problem.

Well… that’s one way of doing things
