The party are neither "Good" or "Evil"-aligned, they are Chaotic. As far as my guesses on individual alignments: - Tim: Wants to be Lawful Good, but falls into Neutral Good. - Mist: Wants to be Chaotic Good, but is likely Chaotic Neutral. - Morbos: Wants to be Neutral Evil, but has too much of a conscience, and is True Neutral. - Fizz: Chaotic Evil and reveling in it.
I would say that Fizz is probably chaotic neutral since he's not explicitly doing evil things, he's just doing what he thinks will benefit him which in my opinion leans more towards chaotic neutral than evil although I don't have a very good understanding of the d&d alignment system so I could be wrongl
The amount of concern everyone has for Johnny is truly heartwarming. He's a wonderful man and it's good to see everyone cares for him. I think he's okay, I'm pretty sure he's used to herding this lot. From seeing videos of him on eurogamer and then dicebreaker over the years, I think this is just his dynamic with this group and dont think he's as "Done" as it appears. That being said, if I'm wrong and the burnout is setting in, just know we all love you Johnny and you do what you gotta do.
With this episode I think it is safe to say Johnny has jumped completely off the deep end to unrelentingly call out all the bs the party constantly pulls, and that it is 100% hilarious.
Yeah, same. I'm loving this comedic chaos but it kinda feels like _Johnny_ is not loving it. Edit: well, I wrote this before I've seen the fingers, so maybe scratch "kinda".

Johnny, your tolerance of this anarchy is outstanding. But also, you just not seeming to care for the first 15 minutes solid was really funny. Big props to Matt also for the inventive use of a stalagmite.
Dear God Johnny XD, dear God. That first 20 minutes was a masterclass in patience, escalation and subtly yelling, 'GET ON WITH IT.' Monty Python would be proud EDIT: Forget the bit about subtlety XD
I loved The Big Gary saga, and I'm loving where this is going, but, um, I also hope that viewers' entertainment won't make Johnny do things he doesn't enjoy, to an extent that it's sometimes uncomfortable to watch. Johnny, we appreciate your hard work, creativity, and fluidity, and we also want you to have fun!
Johnny I'm really worried you're not having fun any more, we would be perfectly fine if you wanted to step back from dungeon breaker for a bit. Hugs, please take care.
I love how Johnny gave zero shits until they actually got engaged in the quest. Wanna delay receiving orders from the captain? *snaps neck* Wanna ignore the warnings about the tunnel system? *snaps neck* He should keep doing it till they finally get the message.
Honestly, when Johnny said the tunnel was blocked, I was _SO_ sure he was going to say it was clogged with sewage and make them clean it out as a punishment. 😂
Michael and Matt are F’ing lucky they have a DM as patient as Johnny. They’ve been pissing around, constantly and consciously derailing and generally showing no regard and respect. No wonder the NPCs are snapping their own necks by this point!
Lucky is a very generous way of describing them. DnD is just not a thing from where I'm from. Even if it were, none of my friends are into fantasy genre. I'd kill to have someone like Johnny DM a session, if I ever get a chance. 😒

@@thegreatpineapple4425 hahaha, nothing wrong with a bit of that type of role play too 😝 You could always suggest to them a very simple role play system like quest. And to get them hooked why not start with a genre that appeals to them more. Once they have done a few sessions in a cyberpunk universe or a horror setting and have grown to like role playing, then you can introduce a fantasy theme.
I genuinely have to wonder if the Waterdeep arc actually broke Johnny, or if he was actually trying to keep himself from exploding laughing, but I felt so bad for him. I hope he enjoyed the next arc more (just catching up)
Most DM's are afraid their party is a bunch of murder-hobo's. Johnny pre-empts that by just unleashing the legions of Yeenogu on the lands to raze villages.
Does anyone remember what school of magic Wheels is studying in? At this rate, he may be better off as a necromancer, his mere presence invokes death it seems lol
Oh poor Johnny. For a while the shenanigans with morbos and fizz were hilarious but now it just feels like they are trying to mess with Johnny on purpose
They'd need to unite over a common BBEG, otherwise Johnny would implode with all the chaotic energy. (can't wait to see what Fizz & Prudence would do together)
Everytime I hear 'crossover' I'm reminded of the Break Quest Club and how it's fallen into limbo. The state of decay in the relationship of Johnny and this group is an argument for swapping them out at this point. Though I will equally in despair at the loss of these characters. I almost thing there should be a grand crossover of the Chiodiniverse landing these guys in Gelt and killing off Lolies and Wheels spares much in the vein of Transformers The Movie. The end result would leave two parties in Gelt. And Johnny with one less campaign to manage. You'd also have a seven person party with Tim, Morbos, Etain, Morrigan, Goodbad and I would presume Fizz and Mist over there IMHO less developed and less entertaining counterparts. As a bonus this would also fill the gap created with the unfortunate losses of Eric and then subsequently Farid.
@@ramsay2234 Seven is pushing it by doable considering Critical Role. Also thanks for the gut check on the math. The crossover itself would be twelve so that's the overly ambitious part if anything. Fourteen if you count the players that would have to field two PCs. Still dare to dream and all that.
Johnny is the best DM I've seen but I thought because the group is made up of mostly GM's and follows existing adventures with a Chiodini twist, Johnny would get a break from DMing every once in a while and we could get some more of the much loved Player character Johnny. Maybe after this season is over, DungeonBreaker could roll the DM? It is unfair for one person to always be the DM when there are others in the group who are good and entertaining DMs.
I was listening to this at work where I'm technically not supposed to have a headphone (everybody dose thow) Do you understand how hard it is to internally laugh harder than you have in months without showing it in front of your boss 😆

A combination sewer, mine and straight up underdark makes that literally the least weird thing about it all. I can't offhand remember if the cannon Forgotten Realms' Waterdeep has them though. I only remember them appearing in Calimshan.
Wheels literally talked two NPC's to death. That has to be a record...
*giggles* and i loved every minute of it.
Every DM felt that. Every one.
The Oxventure Guild: We're the worst!
The Breakquest Club: Hold our pints.
Dicebreaker:
Oh poor johnny, just when you think they cant break him anymore
Dungeon breaker should be renamed Johnny breaker.
Or at least Dungeon Master Breaker :)
This was the episode when I wanted to reach into the screen to give Johnny a shot, a pint, and hug.
And Wheels a shot, a punt, and a hog.

The Wheels Effect (where Fizz speaks to NPCs and they snap their own necks) is slowly turning dungeon breaker into The Happening.
Poor Johnny. I think he's finally hit his limit during the guard scene.
Do you ever wonder if Johnny regrets letting Wheels homebrew his Kenku?
Johnny, you really don't need to protect the party from their own stupidity

-"Hardly adventourous? Yes, very much so."
