    As a huge Subnautica fan, ive always wanted a resin replica like this. The sea dragon ones were great, but personal fav has to be this one with the ghost leviathan, with how you got the paint inside of the body to still keep its transparency. As well as the tiny and quite accurate to scale prawn suit as well. Incredible piece!! ^_^ ♥

    • @hazardousfury
      @hazardousfury 3 года назад +99

      @@sonyaethaniel It's from a video game called subnautica. It's a survival-crafting and exploration game that has you crash landing on an alien planet after your ship get's shot out of the sky by something and you collect resources to bigger and better equipment to go deeper into the ocean to figure out the secrets the planet holds.
      The ghost leviathan is just one of many Leviathan class sea creatures in the game that you have to contend with. That little mech in the diorama is about twice the size of a human so you roughly get the sense of scale that these things are at, they're absolutely massive.

      I too love Ghost Leviathans, I have each one named in my head, usually with ghost related names (Phantom, Spirit, etc...). This one in particular that lives near the Gargantuan skull I simply call Junior. Ghost Leviathans feed on microscopic organisms when adults, although they remain highly territorial. The one living near the skull I have found to be the most outwardly aggressive compared to others. This, coupled with his voracious appetite for river prowlers, suggests he is the youngest Ghost we encounter in game. I have a soft spot for Junior (even when he kills me lol) so seeing him immortalized in such a beautiful piece is just spectacular.

      If you can't afford a gas chamber then you can also use the resin in layers.
      Many use this technique to paint these 3D fish in.
      You make a small layer of resin then you let all the bubbles come to the surface and then you remove them with a long lighter.

    Это всё замечательно и красиво, работа невероятная. Одно "но": было ОЧЕНЬ интересно, как именно была сделана/добыта сама основа тушки левиафана, отчего когда она просто оказывается в кадре чувствуешь некоторое... разочарование? Конечно, только авторы видео решают, какой момент производства они хотят показать, а какой нет, но ощущение, будто пропустили едва ли не самое интересное, особенно на фоне такого подробного процесса создания декораций. Не лишними были бы хотя бы пара строк субтитров на эту тему или пара кадров изготовления/печати/распаковки, чтобы не возникало ощущения как в том меме про "как нарисовать сову". Да, ваши видео явно не самоучитель и не руководство, как сделать. И раньше модели существ просто появлялись в кадре. Но тут... Короче, если раньше ещё можно было просто проигнорировать отсутствие каких-либо пояснений, то в этом случае появляется недосказанность. Это единственное, что расстроило, в остальном отличная работа и умопомрачительный результат
    Спасибо за ваше творчество!

    Meus Deus como pode ter tanta calma tanta paciência para fazer cada detalhe com perfeição eu jamais seria capaz de fazer algo assim me falta paciência se começo a fazer algo e logo há principio da certo beleza mas se cometo algum erro da um suador as mãos começam a tremer não sai mais nada infelizmente eu sou assim por isto admiro tanto quem tem toda esta paciência para fazer coisas deste tipo assim como modelagem 3d já tentei por quase um ano e vi que não era para mim não basta estudar e dizer eu quero fazer porque as vezes voce acaba descobrindo que não tem o talento necessário para tal trabalho e melhor tentar outra coisa que não exija tanta concentração e PACIÊNCIA.

    The epoxy bubbles are actually beneficial in this project since the diorama scene is underwater 😊👌

    This is why i don’t like art, because this guy makes an actual MASTERPIECE and some picture of a woman staring at you *is the best thing ever made.*
    Anyway this is amazing and it looks like you took this right from the game into real life

    Everything that you create is incredible, but... I have a question.... Why do you enjoy so much things hidden in the water? Is it a childhood trauma or what? XD

      It’s insanely weird to assume someone’s joy and creative specialty comes from childhood trauma 🤨

    outstanding work! I've not seen anyone make a ghost leviathan sculpture before and you nailed it. It is such a cool and unique creature in the game and the lost river is a beautifully haunting area to find it in. The translucent body with the internal cavity to inject the paint in was genius.
