@@DEBOSFishing good question. Maybe jigs, there's so many different kinds and they're so situational. I would reckon a lot of people have questions about their uses. Or maybe different kinds of frogs, just because I love frog feeshin.
The z-man used to be my favorite until I found the trickster on sale at Walmart one time for like $2 so I bought several in white, black, and green pumpkin... those quickly became my go too.. the action is awesome and you can throw them anywhere due to the weedless setup! Put some type of crawfish trailer on the black or green pumpkin and work the bottom in heavy cover it’s deadly!
I appreciate you taking the time to make these videos. I bass fished with my dad as a young kid but primarily just fish with live bait with my kids. Honestly mostly because there's so many different types of artificial baits and I am just not familiar with them. Your videos like this helps me understand how they're used and make me want to give them a try! Thanks Debo!
I havent had a chance to try it yet but I've heard the rage blade is better around wood and for jigging. Because the weight is on the actual blade, it falls more vertical when it drops making it better for a yoyo type retrieve. Supposedly the blade is also better for deflecting off cover, especially wood. Excited to give it a try.
I'm still amazed that you don't have more subscribers. I don't think the z-man chatterbait will ever go away. I'm in the same boat about the jack hammer. That's just too much money. Maybe if I had a boat and had a better chance at getting it free if it got hung up, I would consider it. As always another awesome video man! Can't wait to see how the melee works.👊
I had no clue that a chatter bait was such a new thing. I still have not used one. My kids have a couple. They’ve had some luck with them but stick to the stuff I grew up throwing. I’ll pick one up and give it try for sure. Thanks Debo!
I with my brother 98% of the time. He tried one of the rage blades it's was pretty decent until the hook and skirt fell off the blade not to impressed. Great video! Always love watching!

Strike King Rage Blade is amazing Debo!! I like it way more than the Z-Man chatterbait. I got better results with the Rage Blade compared to the Z-man. More bites and better hook up ratio for sure!!!! Try it!!!
Very honest presentation. I worked at Academy Sports and we had the Z-Mann, Strike King, Booyah Melee, and the rest. I think Z- Mann can match or beat the rest. However, I like the one with the "cup" shaped blade to make it look like it was searching. Now that I am interested in.
One year later, just got back into fishing, just got a chartreuse/White z-man original and used it twice. Caught 2 decent catfish, and a 2lb bass my first two times out. Missed a couple fish also. Still alive! Gonna try the blue/black tonight and get one or two of the ones I missed!
Very informative and detailed video. Good stuff. Great job detailing all the intricacies and nuances between the various types and brands. I want to try them all!!
I use to fish the Rage Blade with just the jig back retrieve(fall, pull it up, fall, pull it up...) and it did great and had a great hook up ratio. After using the Lunkerhunt Kraken Bait Blade, I was sold on its action without a trailer on it! It has a zig-zag side to side sweep that looks so good. I've used it with a trailer(Zman Razor Shadz) and caught fish but the sweeping action is highly impeded. The Lunkerhunt works best with no trailer on a steady retrieve. Only thing is, it sometimes takes a quick jerk to get it thumping. The Rage Blade seems to thump instantly. They both work better than a lipless crank using the ripping grass technique. If I'm ripping grass, it's got to be a bladed jig- no more gunked up lipless trebles.
Awesome video love to see videos like this. When u break down almost the same lure but they all different in there on ways. Keep them coming. Tight lines
Love the videos. A channel named marsh man masson did underwater footage and comparison of several different baits. The old standby original holds its own still.
I fish the jackhammer from a boat, classic from the bank. And the strike king rage blade is designed to be good through wood, the short shank hook, and the 1 trailer on it is all u need.i also got the trickster to try out in wood and grass. You did well with it, so I got a black one 🎣💥👍
They all have different sounds and actions, so they all have their uses. It’s not like I’m not getting sponsored by a certain brand either, so I’ll try them all out eventually. Thanks for another great video, feeshin’ friend!
After trying a handful of different types I really agree with Matt Allen from Tacticalbassin. The baits with a split ring connection have hesitation before they vibrate, some times to the point you have to give it a good pull before they start vibrating. I have learned to stay away from them for anything other than a straight retrieve.
I just recently talked to a buddy about that. I've never used any with the split ring but he had the same issue. Don't companies test that before they send them to market?
I used that pepper custom vibrating jig. I added the the treble hook as a stinger then made my trailer weedless worked awesome. Just an idea I'm not really sure how the treble is used.
Until the other newer chatterbait manufacturers can get their prices more competitive with Z-Man, the original chatterbait will reign supreme. Thanks for another great video! Thanks for admitting you lose a ton of chatterbaits too! I know I do!
I watched the video up to the part where you pulled the skirt off and I had to stop to type this. When I started reading and researching spinnerbaits, I had bought a lot of $1 Walmart spinnerbaits. After getting a few more, different kinds and colors, it was quite a challenge to get a little box to carry around a huge amount if you don't have a clue that day, fishing from the bank. Still, fishing from the kayak, which has a lot more area for tackle. Fast forward.... decided to go with War Eagle brand. 3 gold, 3 silver, 5/16 finesse. All single blades, 1 Colorado, 1 Willow, 1 Shellback??, in gold & silver . Now they make 28 different color skirts. Those skirts weigh a lot less if you are pond hunting. I'd look into the different skirts and colors that you could get to use. Just my 2 coins there "Feeshin Friend " Cast far and bust the lip on those dinks.
Debo, I really enjoyed that video! I love Chatterbaits and have several of them. I have the Terminator too. Threw it a few times the other night with no luck but I’m definitely giving it a few more tries. I want to try some of the other BooYaas and Strike Kings now after watching the video. That last one too with the dresser treble. Looks just crazy enough to work! Awesome video! Keep up the great work and keep the videos coming!
i use the rageblade and chatterbaits. theyre both great. although i will say that vibrating response you feel in the rod bringing it in is a little more extreme with the rageblade and might mask a bite. i usually run them with a swim trailer and a trailer hook. the action is bananas. one other thing ive niticed with them is if you need to do a quick retrieve the way the blade angles at full speed brings it to the top of the water and it planes the surface. so if you time it right at a spot you know you can actually have it jump over pesky hang up spots.
I don’t think anyone will dethrone Z-Man as the king of the chatterbaits, but the one from Strike King (using Z-Man’s patent) did kinda catch my eye! Seems like it’s just a beefed up Z-Man but still nice! Once again, thanks for the break down and advice my man, awesome video! Definitely can’t wait for the next video brotha! 🐟🎣
Each of the different styles would put off a different vibration. The market is large enough to handle the competition. I’m liking the detachable hook versions. Gives the bait versatility.
Great video Debo! I’ve used most of the lures you’ve talked about. I will say the melee jig has worked great for me to come through wood and brush type cover but when it comes to ripping it through vegetation forget it. Any z-man chatterbait will do that type of job much better. The thunder cricket hasn’t impressed me. I see it as almost a finesse style jackhammer since the blade has the sides cut out and it doesn’t thump as hard. You’ve probably heard it a million times but honestly try out the jackhammer. I 100% agree with you that chatterbaits are the #1 lure I lose the most so I never throw a jackhammer from the shore but only when I’m out in the kayak so that I can retrieve it. I keep 3-4 different colors with me and if I lose one I replace it as needed. I too could not see spending $16 on a chatterbait but I was so impressed with the jackhammer that I bought 3 more. I really think you should test it. I’ve gone head to head with my dad many times throwing an original cb and he would out fish me 3-1 on the jackhammer. (Pick up the b hite delight color)
Interesting man! I scratch my head to figure out how it could be that much better. However, I've heard it from a lot of folks. I'll start looking for some sales!
I loose chatters hand over fist in the ponds that I fish so there is no way I'm dumping $18 on the Jack Hammer. I love the look of the swinging hook versions with the screw keeper on them. I'll sacrifice a little less hook-up ratio over being able to hang on to the lure for more than one trip. I'll definitely be looking into those Pepper Custom. Thanks again, brother!
Did you ever get around to trying the Rage Blade? I am mixed on it. It catches fish. I've found it comes through grass a lot better than Z-man. That weighted head also helps it roll over hard cover better. However...I have had problems with the swinging blade binding up on the connection, resulting in too many wasted casts. I use them still in super thick grass, but Z-man always in lighter cover and open water
Debo i tryed the zman elite chatter bait don't like it all ways get it hung up on the trees in my lake that's why i i switched to the trickster 2 weedless never lost one knock on wood might try the last one you reviewed thanks for your advice and channel
Thanks! Great breakdown and comparison. Never seen or heard of the Trickster or that other one before... have you ever tried the Lunkerhunt Kraken or Bully Blade? They also have a free-swinging head w/ blade fixed to the weight, so kinda like combining a couple of the ones you showed here.
Love my project Z chatterbaits but I have been trying the Thunder Cricket lately and it's impressive. If I had to compare the two and I think there's a very slight Edge to the Thunder Cricket but time will tell. It might just have been the body of water is on. I need to try it on more bodies of water.
I hit a major dry spell, purchased 1 on Black Friday sale from T/W in white and this thunder cricket is now my main lure I use.. I never caught anything on the zman freedom. Solid bait
We hope it's not dead yet. We bought one a couple of years back and boom...irrevocably snagged on the first cast. Haven't made the move to grab a new one. We are eager to try out the Trickster. Thanks for the video. 👊🏻
@@DEBOSFishing I have a Lew's Xfinity speed stick spinning combo 6'6" medium to fast and a Browning stalker gold bait caster 6 bearing 6.3:1 ratio on a rodz limit 5 series 7' medium to mod. Only lake I have access to is lake Hartwell in GA on the bank. Hope this helps
@@lishme I think a jig (bounce on the bottom or swim it) a stick bait (wacky or texas rig) and a weighted Texas rig (use a worm, beaver etc. Very weedless to toss around wood, do ks,etc.)
@debo'sFishing I love that Rage Blade! for the price its killer! never had a fish come off i didnt even have to swing to hookset, rage craws work amazing on it as well, i caught all my bass using the black n blue rage blade paired with a black and blue rage blade! I just changed it to a Big Bite Baits trailer with more flake, and hematoma blue
Debo You should look into the Strike King Pure Poison Vibrating jig. Tackle warehouse has them at $4.99 each. I have caught a bunch of fish on this and I think they are better then a few of the other Vibrating jigs. I think that treble might be a stinger hook maybe ?
Nice! I'll have to check these out. No, the treble is so you can switch the hook out for open water applications. Kind of a cool idea. Similar to a muskie bucktail. Thanks for watching man 👊
The Z-Man Chatterbait isn't dead, it's not even ill, haha. Of that group there I've used the Z-Man and the Booyah Melee, and I must say, the Melee gives better depth control, where as the Z-Man, and others that I've used, tend to want to rise to the surface on retrieve, but the Melee maintains it's depth better.
If you tried testing every bladed jig, you could die before you could finished or run out of money. I started fishing chatter baits a while back and they caught fish, I will never buy one that costs $20 dollars even if you gave me the money. I bought a few strange models from Z-Man; one called a chatter stick and one called chatter frog. They didn’t work any better than the original model. Z-Man skirts are excellent and I have a box of only extra skirts. I build Jigs, spinnerbaits and chatter baits as needed. This keeps skirts fresh and enables changing weight and colors to any I desire. I caught Trout, Cappie, Catfish, White Bass, Stripers, Pike, Musky, and bass using them. If you find one, better I will be watching with baited breath, good luck with this great endeavor.
Great review, and I have used all of the Z-Man, and found Jackhammers on eBay for $13. I haven’t used the Shudderblade, but, I have such great results with Jackhammer and Picasso’s Shockblade $10. New to your channel and I have subscribed 👍👍🍀🎣🍀
Appreciate you becoming a #verifiedfeeshinfriend I really do need to pick up a jackhammer to try! Thanks for watching, always appreciate seeing new names in the comment section 👊
I tried the Booyah Melee the other day. Found one at Academy for less than $4, so to be honest, not very impressed. Found a Thunder Cricket on sale a couple of months ago. Very impressed with the results. The Zman Shudder Bait is something that I haven't tried. The split ring connector gives you the option of charging the jig of your choice. Most of my chatterbaits are Jackhammers or the custom line from TW. My local tackle shop sells the Jackhammers a couple bucks cheaper than TW, and it's a local tackle shop.
Bearcat Fishing just looked them up and somehow I have one from 5-6 years ago I picked up at a bait shop that went out of business. Those are great. I really like the durability and look of bucktail, especially in cold water.
Chris Fish and Fitness Nate has made some changes to them over the years! Painted blades and more bucktail. You don’t even have to use a trailer anymore
My best luck has been with the Terminator. I feel like the blade and head shed weeds and grass better. I also feel like the durability is better. Both the zman and booyah products start chipping immediately for me and they would harvest weeds. Where I wish a competitor would step up is with the small baits. The zman ultralight lures have terrible quality but I like the smaller size for catching multiple species. The soft plastic they come with is pre-ripped and ready to fall off the hook. The finish on the blades peels and the wire bends. I usually buy them in pairs and immediately throw away the plastic they come with.
The terminator is cool, the head moves in a searching/ hunting action. I still love the Z-Man chatterbait, caught tons of fish on those! Thanks for watching 👊
I have a 1/8 oz Booyah Melee in white and chartreuse. I use it in shallow coves and trailer is a Zoom original fluke in pearl and I use a chartreuse zoom dye pen and make a thin line towards the tail but stop before I get to the end. I throw it on a 6.6 Shimano Jimmy Houston Classic series rod and on 6# magnathin mono. I can pull bass from under docks, pontoons, duckblinds, even over hanging limbs with no effort. The top of the blade is double humped like a heart but bottom looks sorta like a tombstone. I'm severely partial to ZMan version but I got this thing for $2. I have caught a few crappie on it but that's when the docks or standing timber are my target areas and they're packed. Other than that, I pick ZMan & I use 1/2oz more now. I also use a big bulky swim bait. In my opinion it adds buoyancy to the presentation. Choice Elite over Custom model but just my opinion
I wouldn't miss it for the world right now. I'm putting Iowa on my travels soon. If I can't get you to come this way,..... I'll bring the mountain to Debo!!! I've fished with Randy Blauchant, Claude Fishburne, O'Neill Williams, and some others. It would be an honor to fish with Debo!!! Bank fishing is fine by me!! Don't have any concert there so I can take a few days incase of bad weather. Imagine that!!! Mayor Dinkle & Sgt. Dinklemore fishing for a new challenge. Just think of the possibilities!!😂 Keep rippin them lips bruh!!! 👊
I use the chatter, the shuttering and the rage blade but the rage blade gives the most erratic bait action of them all. My buddy has an incredible bass pond chalk full of bass and many 4lbs + but out of all of them the rage blade and the chatter put the hurt on the big boys out there!!!
I use rage blades around rocks and boulders or bumping it off a hard bottom. It deflects off hard cover better than the original style but the original chatterbait style comes through grass better. I've caught some decent fish with both styles.
Awesome stuff Debo 👍 I'm curious to see you throw that pepper custom baits jig. It was one I was looking at, but went with a strike King pure poison for my first chatterbait to try. Keep up the great videos! 👊
Check out the Lunkerhunt Kraken too! They have a swinging bladed head. Picked a few up at Dick’s when they were on sale. I’ve thrown 2 so far and they seem to actually swim up to the surface on the retrieve. I don’t know if it’s supposed to do that or if it was the trailer that I had on it...
Flukemaster has an old video comparing the zman and rage blade...sayin the rage blade was better for fishing around wood, zman around grass, other areas. i like the rage blade but the last one i threw got twisted up somehow and the blade came off the body when it snagged in a laydown. I watched Matt Allen's chatterbait comparison video a while back and agree with a lot of his recommendations. I can't spend $17 on the jackhammer but i do like Picasso's version for around $9. The only one I hate is the $4 ZMan chatterbaits. They take too long to get the vibration going and I know i've caught nice bass simply because I knew when the vibration stopped, it was likely due to a bass on the end of the line swimming at me so I'd reel down and set the hook. With the $4 ZMans, it seemed like it would just foul up or stop vibrating sporadically, not due to a fish. Have you tried the Hog Farmer trailers? I'm diggin those...though i know a lot of folks just use flukes. Thanks for the video! I never looked at some of those brands before. Will keep an eye out for sales to try em out sometime.
I used the linker hint swing head blades jig. Seems to work well caught to more than the z man at a pond.but that could be luck and placement. Comes through grass ok
if a thunder cricket is $14, i’m just gonna spend the extra $2 and get the jackhammer. but other good bladed jigs to look into are the phenix baits bladed jigs & the D&M customs bladed jigs. also... you could also just buy the components and make your own bladed jigs. pick your favorite swim jigs and just add a blade to it. and if you make your own, you can connect the blade directly to the head instead of adding a split ring.
Thanks for the shoutout Debo! Great video also...
Hey! You're welcome man. Thanks for doing some sweet underwater footage!
I wouldn't mind more "deep dives" into different baits. The history was actually really interesting to me.

The market is large enough to handle the competition.
I’m liking the detachable hook versions. Gives the bait versatility.
Yeah, the chatter is going to be my #1 for some time. Interesting to see what some of these others will do.
I have the Rage blade and the trick stir. Rage is good. Trick stir I had a problem with plastic bill coming off.
Ott Defoe used the bass pro exclusive version of the z-man chatter bait
Oh nice! Didn't know they had an exclusive version!
Can't wait to see this next video!!
Thanks man, appreciate you watching 👊
I loose chatters hand over fist in the ponds that I fish so there is no way I'm dumping $18 on the Jack Hammer. I love the look of the swinging hook versions with the screw keeper on them. I'll sacrifice a little less hook-up ratio over being able to hang on to the lure for more than one trip. I'll definitely be looking into those Pepper Custom. Thanks again, brother!
Yeah, I've decorated a number of underwater trees with my chatterbaits 🤣 The trickster has been good and weedless too!
I've had some luck with the rage blade blk and blue sadly I've lost both of mine in our local lake.
Dang! The fish gods giveth and the fish gods taketh 🤣
Great video! Thanks for the run down on these new baits. Love seeing new options. Looking forward to seeing u test them out!
Thanks man, I'm excited to test them all too!
Thank you for excellent video Debo really good advice thanks 👍👍👍
You're welcome and thank you for watching 👊
Debo i tryed the zman elite chatter bait don't like it all ways get it hung up on the trees in my lake that's why i i switched to the trickster 2 weedless never lost one knock on wood might try the last one you reviewed thanks for your advice and channel
Yeah, I've lost many a chatter in trees 🤣 Trickster is weedless and it has impressed me. I haven't tried the last chatter yet. Soon I hope!
You the man Debo great video, I didnt kno there were so many varieties, I only had the zman
Thanks man. Yeah, some interesting designs on the market!
What was the last one called with the dressed treble I liked it but didn’t catch the name of it other than peppers custom jigs
Don't forget the Picasso Aaron Martens Shock Blade. Great bladed jig.
You are always giving me ideas on what too use on my next vids debo🔥🔥 love the channel man
Thanks man. Hope my vids can help. Thanks for watching 👊
I use a rage blade alot.... it catches a ton of fish..... love it.
Thanks! Great breakdown and comparison. Never seen or heard of the Trickster or that other one before... have you ever tried the Lunkerhunt Kraken or Bully Blade? They also have a free-swinging head w/ blade fixed to the weight, so kinda like combining a couple of the ones you showed here.
Yeah I've used to rageblade the exact same one that you had in your hand and multiple fish on them and that trailer Works killer
Love my project Z chatterbaits but I have been trying the Thunder Cricket lately and it's impressive. If I had to compare the two and I think there's a very slight Edge to the Thunder Cricket but time will tell. It might just have been the body of water is on. I need to try it on more bodies of water.
Great review. I've only used the original Zman and it works for me. The swinging head sounds good, I'll be shopping soon.
The rage blade comes through rocks pretty good.
Yeah, I'm very skilled at losing chatterbaits myself 🤣 Thanks for watching 👊
What should a beginner bass fisherman start using first to catch there first bass?
lishme I got mine on a jig. Just work it near cover with a craw trailer and you’ll have your first bass in no time
That's a wide open question. Depends on what gear you have, the lakes you fish, etc. This may be a great video idea 🤔👍👍
@@DEBOSFishing Thanks man I'll try that and keep the vids pumping out I like the way you break everything down and make it simple... Good Job 👍
Just started throwing the chatterbait this year and Ive pulled huge freshwater drum and catfish on it
Larry Parker big drum love it for some reason
Nice man! Yessir, they definitely catch fish. Tight lines 👊
Great video Debo, crazy how that all started out of a mans garage.
Such a crazy way to start. I thought Z-Man invented them. Cool to see the humble beginning of the chatter. Thanks for watching 👊
Got a 4.3 last Friday and a 6.1 on the same jackhammer chatterbait last weekend...nope far from dead!
Dang! Heck yeah man. I need to checkout the jackhammer to see what all the chatter is about 🤣
@debo'sFishing I love that Rage Blade! for the price its killer! never had a fish come off i didnt even have to swing to hookset, rage craws work amazing on it as well, i caught all my bass using the black n blue rage blade paired with a black and blue rage blade!
Nice! I've heard the melee does well around wood too. I'm excited to test that one out. Thanks for watching man 👊
If you tried testing every bladed jig, you could die before you could finished or run out of money.
I'll definitely keep trying them and let you know. I agree, I'll probably run out of money 🤣👊
Would like to see a pool demo in which the rings on the jig heads were replaced with loop knots???
I tried the Booyah Melee the other day. Found one at Academy for less than $4, so to be honest, not very impressed.
Found a Thunder Cricket on sale a couple of months ago. Very impressed with the results.
The Zman Shudder Bait is something that I haven't tried. The split ring connector gives you the option of charging the jig of your choice.
Most of my chatterbaits are Jackhammers or the custom line from TW. My local tackle shop sells the Jackhammers a couple bucks cheaper than TW, and it's a local tackle shop.
I got the regular chatter bait black n blue I'm using and I like it I'll try some of those others nice colors on them
I’m a chatterbait addict haha. You should check out the Nate’s Custom Baits Hybrid Vibe! It is my favorite out of any bladed jig on the market!
Nice man! I'll definitely have to check those out! Thanks for watching 👊
I enjoy the shutter blade. Might try a few of these.
I use the chatter bait and rage blade all the time both work great!
Nice! I'm excited to toss the rage blade.
Nice comparison on these. Lunkerhead makes a nice version as well.
Really? I haven't heard of theirs. I'll keep an eye out. Thanks for watching!
Yeah, upsizing definitely helps to stop the chatter from wanting to rise up! Thanks for watching 👊
I like my project z custom but that terminator looks interesting and the booya caught my eye as well
Yeah, the project z has been great to me this year. Thanks for watching man 👊
why did you leave out the shock blade pro from Picass
I use the chatter, the shuttering and the rage blade but the rage blade gives the most erratic bait action of them all. My buddy has an incredible bass pond chalk full of bass and many 4lbs + but out of all of them the rage blade and the chatter put the hurt on the big boys out there!!!
With the trickster2, use it like a circle hook, or kail hook. Let them take it like a catfifish then reel down or sweep.
Ok, I'll definitely keep that in mind. Makes sense! Thanks for watching man 👊
I just started throwing a chatterbait last year i always have one tied on now great video
Yessir, they are great search baits. Thanks for watching 👊
I use rage blades around rocks and boulders or bumping it off a hard bottom. It deflects off hard cover better than the original style but the original chatterbait style comes through grass better. I've caught some decent fish with both styles.
That's what I've heard from the majority of folks. Excited to see how the rage blade does!
nother good breakdown man,had no idea there was that many
Thanks man. Yeah, few different kinds out there. Always appreciate you supporting man👊
Awesome stuff Debo 👍 I'm curious to see you throw that pepper custom baits jig. It was one I was looking at, but went with a strike King pure poison for my first chatterbait to try. Keep up the great videos! 👊
Yeah, I'm excited to try some of these out. Thanks for watching man 👊
I just use the regular Chatterbait. I’m going to try to get a few more in different companies. I have some Picasso’s shockwave coming this week.
Let me know how you like them I have not used any picasso lures yet.
Nice! I'll have to check those out! Thanks for watching man 👊👊👊
Of course man! Keep up the good work 👊🏼
Flukemaster has an old video comparing the zman and rage blade...sayin the rage blade was better for fishing around wood, zman around grass, other areas. i like the rage blade but the last one i threw got twisted up somehow and the blade came off the body when it snagged in a laydown.
Thanks man, that's good info. I haven't tried the hog farmer baits. Appreciate you watching man 👊👊👊
I've traded the Chatterbait in for the Omega Custom Tackle Rapture vibrating jig.
I haven't heard of that. I'll check it out!
I used the linker hint swing head blades jig. Seems to work well caught to more than the z man at a pond.but that could be luck and placement. Comes through grass ok
Yeah, always tough to tell one lure when you're switching back and forth. Thanks for watching man!
Nice vid D, do you use these chatters only during certain time of year..
Spring through fall they seem to work. Once it gets colder I'll move to something a little more subtle. Thanks for watching man 👊
if a thunder cricket is $14, i’m just gonna spend the extra $2 and get the jackhammer. but other good bladed jigs to look into are the phenix baits bladed jigs & the D&M customs bladed jigs.
also... you could also just buy the components and make your own bladed jigs. pick your favorite swim jigs and just add a blade to it. and if you make your own, you can connect the blade directly to the head instead of adding a split ring.
The rage blade naked is the best finesse vibrating jig with a Zeko trailer just sayin....
Ohhhh.... that sounds like something I need to try!
