That mention of an amphibious Banshee makes me wish there was a Halo game where you could do true naval warfare against the Covenant. And maybe even modified Sangheili, Unggoy, and Kig Yar Rangers for underwater combat while you play as a Spartan using Wetwork armor. That would be fantastic!!!!!!

It was planned for Halo 3 and even made it into the pre-alpha phase but it was scrapped shortly afterwards. No one knows why.
