Were you at the boat landing below the cemetery or the actual Meridian boat landing with the picnic shelter?? Mary Deans spirit is supposedly at the landing in town ....
I live less than a half hour from here ☺️ my friends and i in high school would go drive thru caryville super late at night just to scare ourselves 😂🤣😂 never done any legit 'investigating' with any equipment or anything but I've never heard more creepy howling/screaming/screeching than anywhere out there lol. We'd even pull over in secluded areas on the main road at like 2-4 am and just turn the car off and sit outside.
FYI, The name of the town is pronounced locally as Mary Dean. Not Mer-id-ian. There are at least 3 versions of the Mary Dean story. The most famous being, A little girl traveling with her mother upstream on a steamboat, got sick and passed. She was supposedly buried there. Been exploring Happy Island a lot recently. Before the big flood, there was no island. Happy island was connected to the mainland. Most of the foundations are on the east side. There was a logging mill, school, church, homes and farms on what is Happy island now. Also camped there in past, have not had any experience with strange stuff… Really enjoyed your video and will definitely get back if I see anything weird going on!!!
@@WisconsinHaunts let me know if want to know where some of the structures “basements/foundations/silos” are. Might be able to get some readings at those locations.
My friend and I have been going there for years. The first time we were there we experienced an orange glowing figure in the basement window of the church in the back. We’ve recently (last couple years) been bringing paranormal equipment to investigate. We’ve gotten emf readings at every location but never received anything off the spirit box that we were aware of. We would love to go out with you guys if you decided to go out there again
Lived in Wisco all my life, good portion in the center of where the Wisconsin Death Trip activity occured. When I was a kid I had a lot of spiritual experiences but its hard to say if that was the results of an over active imagination or not. Either way, I'm curious if I were to go somewhere like this if I would experience anything. Ghost Adventurers have resparked my curosity of this topic since the science behind it is better and more believable than it was even 10 years ago. Edit: Subbed bc I love spooky shit close to home
Some cheap things you can use are dowsing rods to ask yes or no questions and the Necrophonic app which should be about $10 on the Apple app store. Digital cameras are also good for picking up orbs, which some think are the forms spirits show up as in photos. Good luck!
@@WisconsinHaunts I hear those apps arent very reliable espeically considering all it takes is to program responses to questions or time it out to say something every X amount of seconds.
Great job on the video. I’ve been there and seen things myself. There’s something going on in Caryville. I heard howling over by the boat landing at night and seen 2 floating light orbs. I’ll never go back there again.
Thanks for coming back! Fun!

Awesome! Thanks for sharing! We’ve been thinking about doing a Part 3 to explore more of the island

If you come back, look for the old town of Tyrone... Same area. @@WisconsinHaunts

Awesome 🎉
Doing this with my friends on Friday, hope something interesting happens so wish us luck. Any tips for equipment or anything that’s not expensive?

Have you guys been to bloods point cemetery and bloods point road
Is Caryville on Hwy 37 close to Rock Falls Speedway?
Yup, only about a five minute drive from there according to Apple Maps 👻
All of Wisconsin is severely haunted. People say Menasha is VERY haunted esp the outskirts of it aka between menasha and appleton
I live not fat from bray road
