Corner bend was a fun addition. Once i learned to not trust the throw down i feel like i can predict better.
I got it right the second time I noticed him trying to take out the bend in the queen
You cannot predict better, though. The dealer will always be able to manipulate what you see.
I WAS ABLE TO GUESS IT BOTH TIMES
God, I feel so satisfied even though I know I'd never be able to do it in the real world
I guessed it the 2nd time haha because there was a bit of a bend in the middle card. I realized when he stacked bent with non he moved the cards
When it’s legit like you did it’s always the last card you touch. In the streets it’s not legit.
Hustler's come out to Venice Beach every summer and take hundreds of dollars away from people who think they can win.
Just pick one of the 2 you think it's not, 50/50 chance
So now Im just trying to figure out how you throw the card thats on top of queen
It's surprisingly easy. Hold the top card with your index finger and the bottom with your middle finger. When you drop the card, do a bit of a throwing motion to disguise that you release your index finger instead of middle, which drops the top card instead of the bottom
I wish I wasn't able to follow the card so I could feel the magic of this amazing routine once again.
It throws the top card down instead of the queen on the bottom right?
@@KuriiiLoL Exactly.
There will always be a new trick you havent seen before
I got the second one only cuz I skipped the obvious pick n looked for the bend in the other cards and saw it on the top right of the middle lol
Hm, actually, I was able to follow the second queen, because I very specifically saw you bending the Ace, I imagine you would do this much quicker if you were doing it for real to successfully fool the viewer though.
Do people still fall for this? The throw down is always the card on top and never the one on the bottom.....er...until it isn't. Still gives you a 50/50 chance.
Man I love the way you keep the cards so close when you pick them up. I actually spotted something I couldn't quite put my pinky finger on before 😉
The only trick of all His Magic Wandgame i understand
I was so full of myself thinking he didn’t know it bent and then he acknowledged it
Picked twice the correct card.. 🥳
I GUESSED MIDDLE ON THE LAST ONE
First i get right but second i f*cked up
Pinky promise I won't.
How in the Fux!!
Awesome
I actually got it all correct
lol I saw exactly where it was
I think when he says "I will toss this card down he tosses the card from the top and not the Queen from the bottom.
this is crazy
I went to a magic show at 6yrs old, wasn't paying attention to his movements. He asked me where the red card was. I guessed, got lucky. Remember him revealing to the audience "good thing you were paying attention, because you got it right" the audience laughed, because i ruined the trick.
The key is looking at the hand that grabs the two cards. When he slams the appeared front-facing ace, he's actually throwing down the queen. You can track it in both examples. Also, look at his right (our left hand) when he shows the aces. He bends the corner with his fingers. He does the switcheroo flick I mentioned before, then unbends the queens corner with his ring finger while shuffling.
ALL THIS SAID: just because you know what to look for, REAL street hustlers will know that you know, and will use that to your advantage. They have decades of experience, and have seen a wide variety of customer aptitude. They will play mind games until you drop enough of a wad, then they trick you. NEVER PLAY FOR REAL
There’s also a technique to enabler the person to cunningly exchange a card when flipped over with another card.
Nice
I don't know what's so difficult. I can see what you're doing and I get it every time
Knowing the trick makes rhis easybto follow.
The explanation confused me even more 😂
I'm so happy, I caught it at the end
You are very slick
3 card Monte would be a fun game, if it were about the sleight of hand and catching the scam.
But I feel like that would be too dangerous. Or you would get scam robbed anyways 💔
You won’t believe me but I got both of them right😂 the throw instantly made me not trust you on the first round so I kept my eye on the other card to easy
