Thanks so much for all your content over the past four years. You are the reason I bought a 2019 Giulia QV. I've never regretted that decision. It's been the perfect car, no issues, still using the original battery. It's been a great car, these are special and are a "once in a lifetime chance" to own a really special car. I'm sure Alfa Romeo will soon be discontinuing this car, they have already significantly reduced production numbers. That's why I'll always keep mine, even though I've got a new Lucid Air arriving in a few weeks.

I drive a C7 RS6 ABT and a Golf 7R daily, both heavily modified, but the QV will be added at some point to the stable. It caused me a big impression since the day it came out, and even though it would be my first performance Italian car (I prefer ze Germans), I’m sure I won’t be disappointed according to your videos and the testimony of some friends that tested one. Leaving how brilliantly it drives aside, I like how understated it is (especially in a dark color), the practicality of having 4 seats (5 from 18) and a decent trunk. Another perk for me is that in Europe you can already find a good unit for around 45-50k. Keep up the great content and enjoy your Alfa. Regards from Spain.

@@autofanaticcars I think they expected to sell 500k units per year as soon as they re-entered the American market after god know how many decades of absence (4C aside). Once they saw the numbers were not there, and more akin those of Jaguar sales, they pulled the plug after investing 8Bn euros on the platform. They could have done so much with it and spawned D,E,F segments cars for both Alfa Romeo and Maserati. Giulia only took two years and aside from the help of Ferrari there were hundreds of young engineers on the project. It's a real shame. I drive lots of BMWs for my side job and they just don't compare. I'd love to be in a bimmer if I was to be in a crash though, as I wouldn't be sad about the car :P

I posted an old ATSV review on the channel few months back it was filmed in 2018 right before I go my Alfa Romeo QV. I was seriously considering getting one but they were hard to get with a manual gearbox and the automatic was horrible. That car is excellent overall the steering, brakes and handling however the engine was not special, had no soul like the Alfa therefore an older BMW M3 E90/E92 I would chose over the Cadillac today if the Alfa was not an option.

absolutely typical Maserati & Alfa cars always dropped like bullets but the Alfa Romeo QV variants are really holding strong in todays market and will only get better as the are rare and limited models. Thanks Phil - great content - appreciate the risks you have taken with your baby by modifying her! I have had my QV for 3 years now, I bought it used - it was a steal at almost half sticker price with 6k miles on it. I love this car. I haven't had many issues with it, and I drive it hard here in Texas where you can drive fast on the highway and no one really notices. I have had 3 maintenances done, one major, for a total of 4,400. I have had repairs done after warranty expired (UGH - a whole other story) for another 2k. So maintenance and repairs over 3 years have been 6,400. The ECM was reprogrammed to eliminate a throttle response error, the radiator was leaking and replaced, and a piece of the headliner along the windshield popped off. Thus far it has been reliable, have never been stranded by it. I have purchased 2 sets of tires for 2,800 total. I'm planning to keep this for a long time. I have minor complaints, but that's what they are - minor.

@@autofanaticcars Hi Phil, I did get the extended warranty for my Alfa - 4 years 60k miles, which will take me up to 100k miles. By then I'll have another daily driver. Glad that I purchased it because I recently had the rear passenger side suspension started clunking. Think it is a bad drop link? I should be covered by the warranty, but the car makes awful thumping noises when driven and feels unstable. So it is in the garage waiting to go to Alfa Romeo for warranty work - they are backed up for two weeks. They will also be looking at some codes my scanner picked up, fuel rail issues and throttle, and a shudder I had in the engine when I got the throttle error. Every 6 seconds the engine would shudder like it was going to die but the RPM didn't change. Thanks for the insight, so glad I bought it and the Chrysler inspector who came out said the car was in perfect condition.
