So weird I had pneumonia last year. Never had it before and truthfully I didn’t even have a cough. I was getting dizzy spells so went to see my dr. I left after getting my labs done (just heart rate/temp/blood pressure) the nurse left with my vitals on a piece of paper I assumed I was done since she said nothing so I left. I was driving home when my drs number kept popping up. I answered he told me to call the ambulance. Apparently my oxygen levels were really low and I left before the nurse came back to tell me. He said my oxygen levels were “unliveable “ They almost let me leave after getting to the hospital in an ambulance too! But luckily the paramedics got me to do another walk around to check my oxygen. No word of a lie I took 5 steps to the door turned around and back. They checked me boom sent straight to emerg for oxygen. I was admitted for a whole month in the hospital. I never coughed once! Idk what this has to do with anything about this post just thought I’d share my weird experience with pneumonia 😅
Funny this, I had pneumonia and I felt sick but I also wasn't coughing, then I started getting a pain like my ribs were broken, by then it had turned to pluerisy and my ex accused me of lying about being sick because I was "too lazy to go to work". I got pneumonia, on a cold windy night, drinking ice water, on a city bus , making sure my friend made it home. Then went to my home. I woke up spitting up blood. I went straight to the ER. So weird I had pneumonia last year. Never had it before and truthfully I didn’t even have a cough. I was getting dizzy spells so went to see my dr. I left after getting my labs done (just heart rate/temp/blood pressure) the nurse left with my vitals on a piece of paper I assumed I was done since she said nothing so I left. I was driving home when my drs number kept popping up. I answered he told me to call the ambulance. Apparently my oxygen levels were really low and I left before the nurse came back to tell me. He said my oxygen levels were “unliveable “
They almost let me leave after getting to the hospital in an ambulance too! But luckily the paramedics got me to do another walk around to check my oxygen. No word of a lie I took 5 steps to the door turned around and back. They checked me boom sent straight to emerg for oxygen. I was admitted for a whole month in the hospital. I never coughed once! Idk what this has to do with anything about this post just thought I’d share my weird experience with pneumonia 😅

Funny this, I had pneumonia and I felt sick but I also wasn't coughing, then I started getting a pain like my ribs were broken, by then it had turned to pluerisy and my ex accused me of lying about being sick because I was "too lazy to go to work". I sarcastically asked the doctor if it was serious and he was shocked like 😮you should be in hospital.

I wasn’t fevered I wasn’t sore no cough but apparently I wasn’t getting enough oxygen. It was such a wierd thing to experience because I honestly felt fine! Other than being tired and dizzy! Even tho they said I wasn’t getting enough oxygen I felt like my breathing was completely normal. 🤷🏻♀️

I had pneumonia over 37 times in my life literally lol. As a 6 year old child i had no air circulating in my lungs and doctor's sent me home. My did everything she could to save my life and prayed all night. The next morning the doctor called from the hospital panicking and apologizing to my mom saying he should've never sent me home. I have asthma so getting pneumonia comes easily.
