Honestly 45min to an hour are perfect for eye in the sky.
30:33 that comment about using local comms is absolute facts. I find that if you start using local for everything, and only squad comms for larger, more relevant info, thats when teamwork and teamplay starts getting really good. You bring the people around you, who are in your situation with you, into the thought process and start working as a team instead of an individual, and your teamplay and performance will improve. People fall into this habit of only using squad comms, and it leads to really spread out squads, and people kinda zoning out. When you hear a guy in local going, "there's a guy, 2nd floor, right window" you shut up and go "oh shit" it brings you into the moment if you're not already in and people stop being blueberries and start being teammates
It also increases the significance and importance of things that eventually are communicated on squad net so people actually listen to it.

dude when i SL i mostly use local, and ive gotten yelled at so much from my own squad for not saying more than where to go and to set up, but its exactly what you said. teamwork comes from local chat imo.
That push from about 22:20 onward is exactly why squad is squad. The fight for survival, epic covering fire, close quarters combat, epic medic play, epic artillery support....just so so good!

I once bounced a grenade off the roof between western courtyard and eastern courtyard in walled courts on Sumari bala - right into the doorway of the side room with the half-shut door to kill an MG camping the north entrance by the broken wall.
Felt good, for sure - but totally not planned. Even though I'll always claim it was 🤣

I love the longer episodes! It doesn’t even feel that long with your commentary and the constant action of different areas in the battlefield. Definitely the best way to do the eye in the sky videos which are indeed my favorite

I just can't get enough of SQUAD right now. Watching videos during the day then playing the game at night. I've been playing for years now and it just keeps getting better.
Great eye in the sky episode. I really don't care how long the episodes are if they're going to be as action packed as this one!
I also really appreciate when you turn on the team colors more often. It can sometimes be really difficult to tell who is who in most combat situations without it, especially if you have a very zoomed out view of the battlefield. It also makes it easier to tell who is inside structures, giving us a better idea of just how full a compound or building is. As someone who primarily watches on mobile, it is the difference between knowing what's going on or just watching a bunch of ants shoot guns at each other.

This is the second video of yours that I've seen. As a newish player it really helps to see what the game looks like from a strategic view compared to the tactical FPS level. There isn't a lot of training on what the maps are about, the modes, the cap points, how tickets materials work, etc.. Thanks so much, I shall binge and learn!

This was excellently done by the insurgents. They withdrew to strong defensive positions, but did not cede the territory unnecessarily. The insurgent team was on its way to rout, and the other team felt it, but once they were inside the city, the Australian force could never move anywhere safely because of insurgent HABs within the city. It was rare they could get anything of force inside the objective for long, because the insurgent team kept being persistent.

Squad is one of the main reasons I purchased my first PC. Early videos of this game were unlike anything I saw in online gaming. They have just continued to outdo themselves over and over. So glad this game is getting it’s time in the spotlight.
Excellent content. This is exactly what I always wanted to see. It really shows how battle lines and front lines are pushed, how territory is won and lost, and how all of the players' individual and independent actions culminate into an epic battle.
