The script comments were a joke! 🤣 A common theme on the streams are that when crazy things happen it's because of paid actors. Nothing is scripted, all random, all pickup games with players just playing Squad!
Yeah that was crazy.. At the same time though, all that tank had to do was look right and the pilot would've just looked like a complete idiot; but alas everything worked out well lol

As benefitting as it is to play super tactical in these games you gotta love the fact that squad lets you pull of some crazy shit and you can still have fun !
If you mean sports like commentary on a round of squad I can agree. However I wonder if anyone else thinks squad might have a chance as an eSports game?
Don't listen to people commenting that you look at the map too much. The map is honestly 60% of this game, if not more. Not just entertainment. It's kind of a game cast and a casual analysis of a round / plays made by both sides. Please keep showing the map.
Taking it way too seriously for matches that aren't even in a competitive setting. The constant map opening is just a habitual tick in these kinds of games because of people that can't navigate worth a damn without a minimap. There's no way you're going to imply opening the map for a couple of seconds every few moments is some kind of actual analysis on the strategic situation in the match.
Honestly the C4 followed by the mine is a legit strat IMO. I've used it successfully against many damaged vehicles causing mayhem against my team in the past. Sure, you're gonna go down and lose a ticket. But if the vic goes down and takes the crew it's a good trade I feel.
I had no idea I was in this game, then I was like wait that truck is in the same spot that we parked yesterday and then the marine vehicle drove up and I saw myself get shot in the face lol
I think what happened at 7:11 with the LAV is he was mid-turning the turret to kill whoever killed his crewmmates behind him when the smoke died out, that shit was chaos
Was that a wired missle that didn't meet the minimum arming distance? Cause that was f***ng hilarious, the sound it made and the wire was funny af. 😂😂 *TUnK bwuwuwuwuwuwu* 🙄
Your videos are just fantastic. It gives a great view of squad at a macro level that otherwise can’t be appreciated. I wish squad perhaps have some sort of AAR one day to allow players to understand what happened so they can improve. It’s often hard to fully understand the bigger picture as a single player in the field.
It annoys me a lot in Squad when SL's and FTL's don't mark what you ask them to (or don't mark anything at all). Those marks are essential for situational awareness and can by themselves help a play that could change the course of the game.
Black coast is not balanced for invasion. Perhaps to simulate the whole ordeal of guessing landing beaches. The defending team will see 3-5 possible caps and only become sure of it 2 minutes after start of the game, giving the ribs a tactical advantage.
It’s because torpedo factory is too easy to defend. That’s where the majority of my games end on invasion. They either got to add 100 tickets or change torpedo factory to not be a complete fortress.
It's actually shows that OWI know what they're doing. It has been accepted for a quite a few years by the USMC and the worlds militaries that contested beach landings are a thing of the past, of the pre-missile age. The only time beach landings will happen nowadays is when it is uncontested. Even without antiship missiles or aircraft, going against a well-defended beach in Squad is just death as it should be. It's one thing in world war 2 when the biggest direct fire weapon against you're landing craft is a MG42, not the last 4 decades where portable ATGMs exist.
man the usmc armor was incompetent that game. why the lav didnt shoot the bmp, my brain just understand. Why the guy that was repair the lav didnt just shoot the combat engineer while he did the like 15 second animation is beyond me aswell, no clue why he thought taking like 5 seconds to get in after watching him start placing it and then start the engine and then back up isntead of just shooting him is just mind boggling

I've probably got a few hundred hours now and hipfiring is easy once you start doing it, just try it a few times. Also if you want to see through brush better look up a settings tutorial on youtube, insane difference
One thing that really needs to be added to Squad is a color mark beside the team flag so you know what color is what team… I’m constantly looking for who is blue or red when you show the names. It’s even more needed in game.
If these are scripted that's understandable but I would have rather it be more unpredictable as it made the entire round feel unimportant and pointless. Maybe just have the commanders on either teams devise plans before hand with given information. Hearing really communicative commanders rerouting squads to go accomplish different tasks or adjust according to plans is always awesome to hear. Just get two really experienced commanders as well as squad leaders to play the scene. A lot of the scripted scenes just don't seem that logical or realistic even when they do look cool. I feel like squad is always better when left up to the players to make decisions especially when they are all communicating and making plans as they move from A to B.

Hey MoiDawg I love this series, I just want to offer a suggestion. Sometimes it is hard to orient oneself when the 'camera' moves fast, particularly when there are quick changes in the rotational axis (N, S, E, W). Perhaps sometimes you get into the urgency of a moment and are focused on your perspective, what you can see. But you're actually shooting a movie for a third person - it might help to always imagine that you are showing what is happening to someone else in the room. Its hard, you're basically shooting an action movie, which is notoriously difficult to do clearly. One practical suggestion is to think of a "home" aspect, here a useful one might be looking west, so broadly blue head left to right and red head right to left. Once you choose the home aspect, say if its west, mainly keep the view from SW to NW. As opposed to quickly reversing to east. Prefer moving the camera backwards or forwards and up or down to capture something out of frame over rotating. You can change the 'home' aspect, but do so slowly and obviously to establish the perspective change, like you would see in a film. You may already be thinking about this, but on the chance this might be helpful... Keep em coming, love the videos!

I was the HAT with the squad that had the three humvees. This game was so chaotic fun and the vehicle plays were phenomenal.
A lot of people seems to only have 15° of FOV when they're in a turret, and their vision become movement based. It's seriously frustrating.

Narrator: Are you not entertained!?
Emperor: 👍🏼
Never seen this game before but those explosions, fire and smoke clouds are some of the best I've ever seen in a game.
That LAV at the start is a perfect example of lacking a commander/spotter.
Gunner ALWAYS stays in, and unless you are cooking, on fire, driver repairs.
Keeping a 4th, as combat engineer to mine logistics routes, blow HABs and FOBs, and repair.
Try to get a group of 3 minimum on discord when running any type of armour.

Marines brook the Golden rule, sending in apc without infantry.

90% of the time you can just assume there is a noob squad driving the tanks/apcs the amount of blind gunners is laughable
A large portion of the problem is also people taking out vehicles without a commander; 2-man tanks are so blind…
