Its great to see how they fixed that in the end of NWH and he's finally a much more accurate spiderman with spiderman's struggle now.

sam raimi really managed to turn a big budget, hollywood superhero action flick into a heartfelt, character driven drama. i’d even go as far as to call him a pioneer of modern superhero movie-making - spider-man 1 and 2 got so many things right with VFX, plot, characters that no other superhero movie before it managed to do (special s/o to Blade)
My gf and I tried to go through the entire Spiderman series recently. I could tell she enjoyed the Raimi series. TASM wasn't too bad either. But the Holland ones, we couldn''t finish. Had to skip to the last one just for the cameos.
