Thanks for the ride. That bike sure climbs well. We know know that the Kenevo is the perfect bike for those gnarly trails but i was surprised on how easy you made that climb look.
Great video, the Kenevo climbs better than any other ebike. Hiking up those trails is no joke over there is no joke, and the trail you descended is legit!
One of the best Tubes I've watched over the past years and I've watched a good few. Last month got me a Cube stereo 120P 625. About the best thing I've done since crossing to ebikes with my Cube nature 400, three yyears ago. Can say I'm not in your league but did ride up (and down of course) Mt Stromlo ACT today. Fantastic POV and entertaining
Great video! I really like the mullet setup you have on the Kenevo. To me it makes more sense to have the 29" front for better roll over of the choppy stuff and holes. Like the 21" front on a dirt bike. Plus with the Fox 40's it looks super cool!
Very cool setup. I love the 29” front wheel setup. Considering doing the same. Can you provide details on which type of forks you started with, and what else must be changed to convert from 27.5 to 29?
Good video!! I have the same bike and little by little I am configuring it the same, it seems to me a super versatile bike and in casualties it is brutal, greetings from Barcelona
Hi Marshal thank you for the video, it’s awesome!! I own Kenevo 2019 and just now ordered new fox x2 instead of ohlin coil. (Not enough adjustability rebounds with 640p coil) I am an heavy rider at 260 pound and 6’4” any recommendations on tuning new shock? Also what pedal are you using on your Kenevo? Looks like wide platform with clipless. I use DX shimano but looking for wider platform with clipless. Thank you again in advance for your reply (if you have time :) 👊🏻 Luca
It looks like your X2 body lightly contacts the frame as well under heavy compression. I just noticed it today on mine, but it self clearanced. I'm thinking of going mullet...you running your chip in high or low? Does putting the 29er up front change the snappy steering character like it has stock?
Quick question, how did you drop some weight off of the bike? You mentioned wheels and the Fox float X2. How much weight did the bike drop with the addition of those components?
Changing from a coil to air shock usually drops at least a pound due to the weight of the coil alone. Nowadays, I'd run a 180 or 190mm 29" Charger 3 RockShox Zeb rather than the Fox 40, that drops another pound or more, I believe. The carbon hoops also drop a bunch of weight. Rob Rides EMTB did a video on it recently, and this variant is probably at least 5 pounds lighter than the stock build.
Marshall, so amazing what you do! I want a kenevo so bad after watching your videos...:) Would you mind saying what size fits you well in relation to your height? Thank you so much !!
@@MarshallMullen1 Thank you so much Marshall! I'm 178 cm as well, and I was doubting between s3 and s4, so your comment is very helpful. Can't wait for your next video!
Kenevo is the best ebike ever build. Not sure why most brands stick to 150mm. We need more options in the 180mm... oh wait we dont we have the Kenevo haha
@@brianennis5291 The position of the clamps doesn't effect the travel. The travel is adjustable, but it is adjustable from the opposite end of the fork from the crowns. So the top of the travel will always be in the same spot regardless of what travel is set. Make sense? For my bike, I am set at 180, with the crowns as low as they can go.
@@MarshallMullen1 Maybe I just need to get used to them! I had shimano XT on my previous bike and the bite is a lot different. Only on ride number 4 with my Kenevo so time will tell. Thanks for replying 😁
@@sdigsy4414 Yeah I’ve seen a couple of people going for MT7’s! That may be an option for me also. I’m currently finding the codes okay after swapping out the pads to a sintered ebike specific version rather than the organic ones that comes stock

That description of hiking an hour to ride 4 minutes down sums up exactly why e-bikes are cool! Killing it on this video!
100% I just want to enjoy my ride down the hill ;(
It's such a workout to head up

That was awesome, you were quick through the rocky sections. The kenevo is the best bike I’ve ever seen and you’re shredding it
Wow!
Talking about gnarly natural trails!
Impressive!!

I saw your other video. Is it a Fox 40 or 49 forks?
@@brianennis5291 He has a fox 49 on this, but a 49 is just a 29" fox 40 before they got renamed.

never would have even considered an ebike until this
I'm surprised to see cables on your shifter as you said you were running an AXS derailleur on that bike... 🤔

This Kenevo or new Gen3 Levo? 😜😉🧐
Do you ever turn the battery off after the climb or keep it on until the end of your ride?
Amazing bike and great riding 🤙 one suggestion is to use stabilization, video is bit too shaky.
I would like a Kenovo if it wasn't as expensive and motor problems. I got the Ghost hybride slamr x s3.7. It's a awsome bike up and down 🙏😁

Hi!How many times could you climb that with one batery ?
I am curious about the range.
Depends on what power you are on. But if you are on high I could probably lap this one 3-4 times. It gives you so much range!
I wish this video was in a higher frame rate. Its almost impossible to see what is going on on that descent. Is it 24fps?
Hey Marshall I have the Kenevo comp for 6 months now. What tyres have you had success with
I really like the new specialized butcher t9 in the front, and and eliminator t7 in the rear. The new rubber compound is insane! Very good
call me crazy but don't you think it would be incredible if ENDURO model would be the next KENEVO frame based?!

Did you just say this weighs less than 48lbs?
For the price, a new KTM would be much more fun
Much more expensive to maintain and use at tracks and if you want to be cool and ride it on road...you will need to buy a bed bike entirely
