    Also was there a King Fisher panel? Sush a rare panel, and a other panel which is the main panel

    • @firealarm421
      @firealarm421  2 года назад

      The king fisher panel is connected directly to the fire department so if the alarms go off it’ll go right to them

    Were the alarms this raspy when you attended this school in 1998?

      It's full-wave rectified power (FWR). Here's a description of what's going on in the power supply to cause this:
      - The transformer drops the voltage from 120 volts AC to 24 volts AC.
      - The rectifier, which uses diodes, allows current to only flow in one direction - essentially chopping the 60 Hz AC sine wave in half.
      - Now you have current that's essentially DC but pulsing on and off at a rate of 60 Hz. This is why the horn wavers and produces that low undertone. Some appliances, like Simplex electronic horns, are incompatible with this current type.
      - To "smooth the bumps" and provide steady, 24 VDC current, most power supplies feature a filtering capacitor that stores charge, which is discharged during the gaps. Horns running on this type of power supply will operate normally.

      I graduated high school in 1998. I never attended this school. It was my first time in this school. I was just video recording it. My buddy works for the fire dept alarm division and was in charge of conducting the fire drill
