Nice vid as always. I did notice that the stage 5 on the rebound that the front tires left the ground Offen. Not so with the stage 2 or the stock ones. I don't like that as the purpose of the shock is to keep the tire on the ground at all times. If I upgrade it will be with stage 2 for that reason. Thanks for a great video.
Thank you sir.. and we could have easily adjusted the rebound on the stage 5s to not do that.. we just tested them straight out of the box for this video and in my next shock video we will adjust them for different results and showcase that part of them.. (which is the most important part of the stage 5s.. the adjustability range)
I have no doubt about that. That was just the thing that stuck out to me in the video. You guys do great work, and it is appreciated. I have outfitted my Overland with your stuff and have no complaints. @@RealTalkPowersports
it looks like you where trying to show much more difference then there is. Preload and rebound on tfx is way up then on oem and i hate how the front bounces after the impact on tfx. I was on a trail ride with cfmoto thunder racing team on tfx and race atvs and was going to buy tfx but after that trail ride iam still on stock cf 1000 yit shocks.
Thanks for looking into the replacement windshield. For me cf moto is truly full of it! For not having a replacement. Now I have to look into how many came off when trailering again thanks MSC.
Dear Northerners. Most people who live in the south hunt without a bulletproof vest, fish without a life jacket, and ride a quad to do both without a helmet!!
Does Elka even make suspension for the Cforce 1000 Overland? As for the TFX I can only see it for sale for 4000 Euro in Europe, thats alot of money, no options for stage 2 or stage 5, just one option. I just want a really smooth ride on my Overland.
I love Main Street Cycles and I buy pretty much solely from there but I would never pay this much for rest shocks. 4300 buck I think the stock only cost 300$ for the 2 rear schocks . If you dislike the original suspension that much you could just buy a Can Am with Fox Shocks 11 Grand for the Atv 4300 for shocks your at the same price point as a top of the line Can Am
damn, guess i should have waited a bit. i bought the YIT shocks for my cforce 600 and they are better than stock, but still kinda lacking. thanks for the preview! on a side note...hate to ask this here , but i placed an order on 2/13 at MSC, for the diy tune for my quad order # 5909, and have heard thong since the confirmation email. i have emailed twice, used the online chat and no response at all. any help would be appreciated !
al the models i saw had all the shocks adjusted different. You should have adjusted bound to fast and rebound to fast but then there would not be so much difference.
Hey , great video been a long time follower, got a question friend. On my 2020 cf moto 600 my starter switch not working, but when i hot start it, its starts. Do you have a video on replacing the starter/ light switch on the left side, thank you much!
@@RealTalkPowersports i replaced the starter solenoid to a brand new one. Checked battery and is good, any other suggestions is much appreciated. Thank you sir
@@RealTalkPowersports So i did some research and took apart the left light switch/ power switch and clean it up and it was the problem, going to order a new power/ light switch, thx.
I have a 2023 Cforce 1000 and i have no issues with the suspension, but i dont drive like an idiot either and the reson to have an ATV is for work and fun, not for a exktreme driving like here lol i am 64 year and have it nice on my ATV and are happy with that!
Yes absolutely.. we took them straight out of the box as is.. in the next testing video we will show how to dial both stage 2 and stage 5 shocks to achieve casual trail riding softness and comfort
I have not personally directly tested that.. some have reported that the seals have blown out and went bad early in the life cycle of their Elkas.. but I can not attest to that personally.
Really pissed me off to see him riding like that without a helmet. What are you trying to teach the kids? Won't be such a cool test if your buddy gets a permanent brain injury, eh?
I personally wear a helmet all the time.. that’s how you get all of the helmet cam footage on my channel. I can’t force a grown man to wear a helmet. And when it comes down to it.. it’s up to the parents to enforce their kids to wear a helmet. Here in the south east, NO off-road parks require nor enforce helmet usage.. so the culture is definitely different down here. When you go to an offroad park down here there may be 500 people in attendance and you may see less than 5 percent of them wearing a helmet.. Now does that make it right to not wear a helmet..? Absolutely not.. do I wish people would wear a helmet when pushing the limits of their driving skills and of their machine? YES.. I will try to promote safety best I can on my channel.. but it sure is difficult to do in my area.
We need to be on time ,before Mr Trump will Winn election , he promised increase up to 60% custom fees for Chinese products 😢😢😢. I understand what he wants and why , but CF moto didn't build plant in US 😢
For us older kids, we want the good suspension to help our backs. We don't want to be sore the next day.
Did you like at the price

Those stage 2s were an amazing difference. Seems like the stage 5 might be best left to people that ride hard most of the time.
Yes exactly what we believe as well 👍👍

Im going to have to wait for the new 1000 to come out and yall to do all of the extreme testing before i get my next 1

Love this tfx suspension. Going to change the suspension world.
Premium stuff for sure

Oh and if you have an 800 with brand new Sedona rip saws on it don’t rip any donuts the tires grip too much and you will roll. Lmao
Home of the free, for now..
@@jasonmiller9495anything with that kind of weight will roll before it slides with soft suspension like that lol.
4300 bucks for just the rear is insane

🤔🤔what is that clattering sound when braking hard or when jumping? 5:45, 12:30 🤔????? i love your videos😍
It’s either the winch hook 🪝 bouncing around..
Or clutch chattering between engagement and disengagement which is normal..
Man, it's the sound of your fillings falling out !
Do they make a long travel suspension for the new 1k & 800?
We are about to release that in a couple weeks
