Are Filipinos friendly? I mean, what are we supposed to do when we pass by them? I have lots of Southeast Asian friends, and they’re all very friendly. Some of em said we should do little communication even to someone we’ve never met before
I'm not bein nasty about the phillopinos people my brother was wed to girl there, if I lived there or I was fit able would love to help pick it up sort out make it nice, l just had my 3rd kidney transplant,of my young brother,whom love to bits for, it's just in me to clean dont like mess, must be hard for them,,upsets me that I cant help,😢

Can’t they clean up a bit? Here in the west we sort our waste in which type it is. Hard plastic, plastic bags etc. It’s actually worth some money.
Being poor is not a crime, but not keeping clean and tidy is a crime. These people are very careless. They have no sense of the filth around them.

ive been here the same month this video was recorded or a month before. I got there bcz it was out summer break we went there to spend some time with my cousins, they weren't living bad at all, they were the only few ones with an actual house in the area. They were a bit farther from where this video was actually filmed, so they were kinda on the better side of the SLUMS. Still in the slums.This place was an eye opener, changing my whole perspective on life. Made me realize how lucky i actually am. I played on that exact court shown on 0:59, I loved how everybody was still smiling having fun despite their challenges and difficulties in life. Seeing children work, collecting bottles and pick up trash made my heart burn. Seeing people my age (im 15) struggle made me actually appreciate what i have and it just made me thankful for all the opportunities that was given to me.We live in manila and i thought our area was already bad, this place was just sad. Whats more sad is how the government is not doing anything about it, ik it aint that easy but atleast try. Although they were living in these crazy conditions (houses sinking, houses made out of tarpolines and cardboard) they still manage to have fun, and thats a blessing it self.
